PSA Project: The DESIGN Phase Outline Project Title: How to incorporate Web 2.0 tools & the smart board in a math classroom General Goal: To help inform/teach math teachers on how to incorporate certain technologies (Web 2.0 & smart boards) in their everyday lessons. Specific Outcomes: Discuss how to find Web 2.0 tools to use, give specific examples that can be used in a math classroom, how to search for smart board lessons/ideas to use in the classroom, and examples of specific ways to use the smart board in a math class. Audience Who will use this project (e.g., teachers, students, other; be specific)? This project is intended for teachers to use to help them explore using technology in a math classroom. Why should technology specifically used in a math classroom? 1. Students attitudes would change about math. They would go from students hating and dreading math to actually liking it and looking forward to class everyday and finally, actually understanding it! a) Pictures that portray the frustrations with math and also loving math.
