But according to the United States, they will only recognize the independency of the Philippines but still under the guidance and protection of the United States. We can deduce that the Americans are not in the Philippines just for support of to give military assistance but take part in the government system of the Philippines. Controversys after controversies with regards to the independency of the Philippines, like Aguinaldo was once accused of meeting up with the Spanish government until. The tension rises between the American and the Filipino soldiers when a American soldier started firing on Filipino soldiers on san Juan. Aguinaldo led a new revolution against the forces of the United States, fighting broke out February 4 1899. Many soldiers were killed on both sides of the party, and according to the data. The number of soldiers and civilians killed during that war was more than the number of people killed during the whole stay Spaniards in the Philippines. Basically it was a result of the war itself and the spreading of the different diseases and famine. The war officially ended 1901 resulting to the Americans investing money to the island of the Philippines. It resulted to the growth of the market and stocks in the Philippines. Free trade was established by an act of 1909.

act as the Philippines will act as independent body over president Hoovers refusal, only to have the law rejected by the Philippines Legislature, finally passed a new independent act, popularly known as the Tydings-Mcduffie Act. We all thought that the Americans were here in the Philippines in order to help us with our independency. But as a matter of fact it even worsen the situation in a way of instead helping us with our constitution they colonized us. But whats different between the Spanish and the Americans is that with a short period of the time they have

made a great influenced in the Philippines by. First education, the Americans taught Filipinos how to speak English. Today we can see that Filipinos are what we see as still as an American Colony due to globalization of English which affects our country deeply. Second is the market, Philippines inherited a free market that the Americans brought up before. It resulted to the downfall of the Forex of the foreign exchange of the country. But what really made an impact is that the Philippines is still under the colony of America, Neo Colonialism. Before what I learned is that the Americans were here to expound there colony. They were in the Philippines to help the Filipinos achieving their independency but they were here to colonize us. I thought they just wanted the Philippines to be an extension of their naval bases around the world.
