With the spiraling healthcare costs, health plans are facing increasing pressures to contain costs. This fact necessitates checks and balances, and audits. Inaccuracy of charges and payments may occur during payments of claims and audit of such paid claims is necessary to ensure accuracy of the payment process. Claims Audit is automated web enabled technical solution integrated with claims processing core systems. It is used for audit review, claim adjustment and tracking by integrating with Enterprise Managed Care Solutions such as Facets. It automates the audit process so that health plans may have maximum accuracy of audits with minimum cost and time Responsibilities 1. Developed web forms in ASP.Net using C# and ADO.Net to access data from SQL Server 2005. 2. Developed NTier application in .Net using 3 layers approach. Presentation layer developed using ASP.Net with C#, Business Layer developed using C#, and Data access layer developed using ADO.Net in C#. 3. Illustrations System plays a key role in the Business process wor i am a bastardof the Policys lifecycle when the Agent presents Illustration / Quotation to the customer with various details taken into consideration for example demographic details. Illustrations system is also used by Underwriters of NLG who evaluate the proposal before issuing the policy. Once the Policy is issued the Details are available on the web for the customers & agents to keep track or modify depending on their needs.
