II. GENERAL TECHNICAL ISSUES ============================== Screen Resolution: -------------------When Even More Contraptions runs for the 1st time, the game will resize your dis play to be 800x600 pixels in size & switch the bit depth to 16 bit. On some moni

tors, you may want to readjust the horizontal / vertical position controls to ce nter the display. There are three different configurations for playing Even More Contraptions: 1. Full-Screen Mode. This is the default setting and will fill your entire screen. This can be chang ed by turning "full-screen" off in the graphic preferences. 2. Window on Wallpaper Mode. When you turn off full-screen in the preferences, you'll get a window on the wal lpaper. 3. Movable Window Mode. If you click on the "Windows restore button", you can play on a movable window. CD Usage: ----------You must have the CD in the drive in order to run "The Incredible Machine: Even M ore Contraptions(TM)". Installation: --------------Details of product installation are outlined in the file Installed.txt, found al ongside the setup files.

IV. KNOWN PROBLEMS ==================== 1. RealPlayer7 Basic compatibility issue: Do not run Even More Contraptions whil e RealPlayer7 Basic (the free version) is running. This can cause problems such as RealPlayer crashing, sound capability being lost within Even More Contraption s, or possibly causing the computer not to shut down properly. 2. Third Party Music Players compatibility issue: Do not run Even More Contrapti ons while other music players are running. This can cause problems such as sound capability being lost within Even More Contraptions, or possibly causing the co mputer not to shut down properly. 3. S3 Virge chipsets compatibility issue: Machines with a combination of Windows 95-B and video cards with "S3 Virge" chipsets could have difficulty running the game. If this is the case, you should check with your video card manufacturer or consider using Windows 95-A or Windows 98. 4. On some computers running Windows 95-A, the online help manual (accessible fr om the game's Help buttons) may not work.
