solution with the empirical formula: Al2(SO4)3.51.8 H2O This may be alternatively expressed as : Al2O3.3SO3.51.8 H2O The Al2O3 content of the product is 8% w/w hence the Industry Standard description of the product as 8% Aluminium Sulphate. 2 METHODS OF SUPPLY AND DELIVERY 2.1 Bulk Tanker Normal supply is by articulated bulk air pressure road tanker, in lot sizes up to 30 tonnes (22,700 litres). Connection from the tanker is by a 2 BS10 Table D flange. Vehicle dimensions are given below and access must be suitable for articulated vehicles. 3.4 Safety Provisions The provision of a safety shower and eyewash facility, and a water hose, at the tanker discharge point is required. 3.5 Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) Full IBC weight is 1370kg.
