Pupils will be able to state what constellation is and identify the types of constellation.

Set Induksi

1. Pupils watch a 5 minutes videos on constellation. 2. The video stimulates pupils to visualise and have their first sight on constellation. 3. A Q & A session between pupils and teacher on the video watched.

Strategi Pengajaran & Pembelajaran Aktiviti Pengajaran & Pembelajaran

1. Set Induksi Pupils watch a 5 minutes videos on constellation. The video stimulates pupils to visualise and have their first sight on constellation. A Q & A session between pupils and teacher on the video watched. 2. Aplikasi Harian Pupils relate the existence of constellation with the moon, star and sun. 3. Turutan Aktiviti (a) Vocabulary check. Pupils are introduced to the keywords of this topic. (b) Teacher shows a scorpion constellation. Teacher stimulates pupils to identify the pattern of a scorpion constellation. Teacher stressed that a constellation is a group of stars that forms a certain pattern in the sky and is named according to the pattern. (c) Pupils are divided into groups. Each group will be given a sugar paper that afterwards will be divided into four sections. Each group will also be given a set of stars. (d) In groups, pupils will arrange the stars forming the four constellations (Scorpion, Orion, Big Dipper and Southern Cross). Pupils will paste their formation on the sugar paper. Pupils will paste the gold dust along the stretch that forms the formation of the constellation. (e) A representative from each group will come forward the constellations that have been formed by his or her groups. 4. Penglibatan Pelajar (a) The Q & A session between pupils and teacher on the video watched. (b) The discussion amongst them during the group activities in forming the constellation. (c) Representing and describing their group works to the teacher and other pupils. 5. Rumusan Pupils are able to state what constellation is and pupils will able to produce the four constellations according to their pattern. 6. Ujian Diagnostik Worksheet.
