1. Person 1 reads the first chapter of the book.

Circles
Some of the best professional development comes as a result of teachers reading and talking. This model is a practical way to make that happen, bearing in mind how little real time there is to do this. Teacher Literature Circles groups can be formed by whole teams, within teams or across teams. In some situations, the book itself creates the group. In other situations, a group chooses a specific book as they feel they will benefit from it.

4. Continue like this until the book is finished, or the group decide they have got what they need from it.

2. The group gets together to share what Person 1 has found out, created, put into practice.

3. Person 2 reads the second chapter of the book.
