Present day procurement of milk by the society is about 10000 liters a day, whereas the real total production of its farmer is much higher than that of procurement. Procurement is less because society is still unable to provide remunerative price to its farmers in comparison to the prices of required inputs. Yet, the society is in existence in the region with the business having annual turnover more than Rs. 10 crore per annum. Envisage This region of our country is facing the acute problem of unemployment and militancy. To ease the nation from these problems, employment opportunities are to be created. Hence, the society on PPP made with the Govt. of Assam can pave the way in the generation of employment opportunities and economic externalities for fostering the growth and development of NER. At present as mentioned above that sita jakhala is still unable to pay remunerative price to its milk producers, which in turn reducing the enthusiasm in the business of cattle farming. To combat the problems, the society is to be equipped with ----I) Provision of at least 2 nos of highly productive and descript breed of milch cattle to each producer member of the society for breed development and to increase the production & productivity.
