the United States died.
Over the course of a year,
just a few seconds in the
span of a country, it’s civi-
lization and their way of
life, we have witnessed
the premature death of

individual will become a
victim in most places is

Last summer’s much vaunt-
ed transatlantic terror plot,
a facade that has since col-
lapsed under the weight
of its own absurdity, led
to ridiculous measures in
airports banning any form
of liquids in carry on lug-
gage and mothers were
forced to drink their own
breast milk. Yet there has
not been a bomb planted
in a piece of checked lug-
gage on an American car-
rier since the 1988 Locker-

time Americans have been

contents of their luggage

And yet what do we see?

Mueller elaborates,
“What is needed, as one
statistician suggests, is
some sort of convincing,
coherent, informed, and
nuanced answer to a cen-
tral question: “How wor-
ried should I be?” Instead,
the message the nation
has received so far is, as a
Homeland Security offi-
cial put (or caricatured) it,
“Be scared; be very, very
scared — but go on with
your lives.” Such messages
have led many people to
develop what Leif Wenar
of the University of Shef-
field has aptly labeled “a
false sense of insecurity.”
By making these state-
ments and continually re-
cycling the hysteria, these
entities are facilitating the
goals of terrorists, driving
forward an agenda that
could not alone be fueled

There is no doubt that
this is a part of the esca-
lation of the wider war of
aggression planned and
executed by the neocon-
servatives who published
their Project For the New
American Century before
they came to power.
“Before this, it was just tacit
support for Ethiopia. Now
the U.S. has fingerprints
on the intervention and is
going to be held more ac-
countable,” said Horn of Af-
rica expert Ken Menkhaus.
“This has the potential for
a backlash both in Somalia
and the region.”
The truth is that, once
again, the terror myth is
being promulgated as an
excuse to unleash violence
against a largely innocent
Muslim population, and
one that has struggled for
a peaceful existence for
decades.
As prominent blogger Kurt
Nimmo has stated:
“In other words, it was a
turkey shoot, and the tar-
gets were not necessar-
ily “al-Qaeda” but rather
members of the Islamic
Courts Union (ICU), Mus-
lims who not long ago
ruled Somalia under the
Shariah, or Islamic law.

popular in Somalia, a Mus-
lim nation.”
Last December, the popu-
lar ICU lost control of the
country after a short lived
form of peace. The UIC had
controlled Mogadishu and
other areas of the coun-
try after defeating several
local warlords who held
Somalia in the grip of ter-
ror since the collapse of
central rule in 1991. The
Islamists had succeeded
in defeating the warlords
primarily through rally-
ing people to their side
by creating law and order
through the application of
Shariah law, which Somalis
universally practice.

split between moderates

pose Muslim Sharia law.
In any case neither have
the means or the desire to
commit an almighty Jihad
against the West, they are
simply concerned with
creating some kind of law
and order within Somalia.
The US response has been
to provide major fund-
ing to the warlord group-
ings, via the Ethiopian
army, that are opposed to
the UIC. Before bombing
the hell out of villages on
Monday, the Bush Admin-
istration has long been
providing backing to ruth-
less killers intent on keep-
ing Somalia in civil strife
because it benefits each
warlord’s plundering rule
to keep the nation carved
up.
These are the same ma-
rauding warlords who
drove out American forc-
es in 1993, killing and
maiming 18 US troops
in the streets then drag-
ging their bodies around
in celebration.
Many of these warlords
were part of the pup-
pet regime transitional
“government” that had
been organized in Kenya
in 2004. But the “govern-
ment” was so devoid of in-
ternal support that it had
to turn to Somalia’s arch
enemy, Ethiopia, to main-
tain control.
So why are the US power
elite funding sectarian
warlords in Somalia and
now bombing Islamist ar-
eas of the country?
Because the control of So-
malia via puppet govern-
ment, just like in Iraq, is a
key factor in the Neocon
plan to “shrink the non-in-
tegrating gap” of the new
world order, as Thomas
Barnett’s ‘New Map’ of the
world has it.
As with Iraq, the real
agenda is to obtain a di-
rect foothold in a highly
strategic region. The Horn
of Africa is newly oil-rich,
and lies just miles from
Saudi Arabia, overlooking
the daily passage of large
numbers of oil tankers and
warships through the Red
Sea.
Not surprising then that
multiple US warships and
Ticonderoga-class cruis-
ers are now stalking the
coastline off Somalia and
routinely sending intel-
ligence-gathering flights
over the country. The loca-
tion is also prime in order
to be able to instantly mo-
bilize forces for any con-
flict with Iran at the drop
of a hat.
The American oil giants
Conoco, Amoco, Chev-
ron and Phillips also hold
concession rights in So-
malia. According to the
Los Angeles Times, “cor-
porate and scientific docu-
ments disclosed that the
American companies are
well positioned to pursue
Somalia’s most promis-
ing potential oil reserves
the moment the nation is
pacified,” - i.e. kill the “Is-
lamofascists” and install a
weak and pandering gov-
ernment that could never
control its own resources
well enough to compete
with the Western global
elite.
“Somalia is of geostrate-
gic interest to the Bush
administration, and the
focus of operations and
policy since 2001,” writes
Larry Chin. “This focus is a
continuation of long-term
policies of both the Clin-
ton administration and
the George H.W. Bush ad-
ministrations. Somalia’s
resources have been eyed
by Western powers since
the days of the British Em-
pire.”

as the next British Prime
Minister.
“Michael Meacher is “well
on the way” to announcing
his decision to stand in the
forthcoming Labour lead-
ership race, according to
one of his key supporters,”
reports the London Guard-
ian.
With Tony Blair set to stand
down before September
2007, the party leader will
be the de facto Prime Min-
ister, at least until the next
general election in 2009,
where many expect David
Cameron, a favorite of the
Globalists, to reclaim 10
Downing Street for the To-
ries.
Meacher is set to rally the
anti-war left sentiment of
the Labour Party in an at-
tempt to defeat current
Chancellor of the Exche-
quer Gordon Brown, who
up until now has been
widely tipped as a shoe in
for Prime Minister.
Under the headline, This
War On Terrorism Is Bogus,
Meacher’s 2003 Guardian
piece sent shock waves
through the political spec-
trum as he was one of the
first respected former gov-
ernment cabinet members
worldwide to openly attack
the official fable of 9/11 and
the manufactured reasons
for going to war in Iraq.
Highlighting the complete
failure of U.S. air defense
systems on the morning of
9/11, Meacher asked, “Was
this inaction simply the
result of key people disre-
garding, or being ignorant
of, the evidence? Or could
US air security operations
have been deliberately
stood down on Septem-
ber 11? If so, why, and on
whose authority?”
He also pointed to the ob-
jectives of the Project For
a New American Century,
a cadre of top Neo-Cons
who before 9/11 yearned
of a “new Pearl Harbor”
and wrote documents fore-
telling the exact imperial
agenda that unfolded af-
ter the September attacks,
stating that the documents
offered proof that the war
on terror was a “political
myth propagated to pave
the way for a wholly differ-
ent agenda - the US goal
of world hegemony, built
around securing by force
command over the oil sup-
plies required to drive the
whole project.”
In August 2005 I person-
ally visited Meacher’s south
London home with my
brother Steve Watson and
Alex Jones during filming
for the Terror Storm docu-
mentary. Simply judging
from the books on Meach-
er’s office shelves it was
quite clear that he was well
versed in a plethora of dif-
ferent topics including the
real story behind 9/11 and
the Iraq war. He was also
the nicest politician you
could ever wish to meet.
Most people in that posi-
tion get on power trips
and think themselves to be
above the general public
but Meacher was cordial
and very giving with his
time and the interview was
extremely informative as
you can on youtube.
Meacher has also featured
in other documentaries
about 9/11 including one
that aired on Dutch televi-
sion.
What are Meacher’s chanc-
es of overtaking Bilderberg
establishment pawn Gor-
don Brown and becoming
Prime Minister? Slim to
none - the British hierarchy
would sooner hijack the
outcome rather than see a
fiercely anti-empire, anti-
Neo-Con Prime Minister,
but if Meacher teams up
with any of the other pop-
ular candidates running
alongside him as deputy
head, the margin could get
a whole lot closer.
But the odds are firmly
stacked against Meacher
because the elite have
already chosen Gordon
Brown - described by many
as “Blair on steroids” - as the
next PM. Brown and Blair
cut a deal before Blair was
even elected in 1997 that
would see Brown take over
the reigns at some point
while Blair was still in of-
fice. The British public have
been ceaselessly drilled
into acknowledging the
fact that Brown will suc-
ceed Blair simply by repeti-
tion alone.
As a young politician Brown
was a staunch Socialist
within the Scottish Labour
party. When John Smith
became leader of the La-
bour Party shortly before
his premature death, he
appointed Brown as Shad-
ow Chancellor. Smith was
a member of the steering
committee, the inner core
of the Bilderberg Group.
He got Gordon Brown in-
vited to the 1991 Bilder-
berg meeting where he
was effectively groomed
along with Blair as the next
big thing in British politics.
Incidentally this was the
same meeting at which Ar-
kansas Governor Bill Clin-
ton was in attendance, he
became President a matter
of months later.
Brown has also, as far back
as 1998 been listed in the

the World Economic forum
(otherwise known as the
DAVOS group) . He has of-
ten been touted for high
ranking IMF positions.

cial scarcity
The crux of the issue is that
if oil was plentiful in areas
in which we are being told
by the government and
the oil companies that it
is not, then we have clear
evidence that artificial
scarcity is being simulated
in order to drive forward a
myriad of other agendas.
And we have concrete ex-
amples of where this has
happened.
Three separate internal
confidential memos from
Mobil, Chevron and Tex-
aco have been obtained
by The Foundation for
Taxpayer and Consumer
Rights.
These memos outline a de-
liberate agenda to gouge
prices and create artificial
scarcity by limiting capaci-
ties of and outright closing
oil refineries. This was a na-
tionwide lobbying effort
led by the American Petro-
leum Institute to encour-
age refineries to do this.
An internal Chevron memo
states; “A senior energy
analyst at the recent API
convention warned that if
the US petroleum industry
doesn’t reduce its refining
capacity it will never see
any substantial increase in
refinery margins.”
The Memos make clear
that blockages in refin-
ing capacity and open-
ing new refineries did not
come from environmental
organizations, as the oil
industry claimed, but via a
deliberate policy of limita-
tion and price gouging at
the behest of the oil indus-
try itself.
The mystery of
Eugene Island
330 and self-re-
newing oil sup-
plies
Eugene Island is an oil field
in the gulf of Mexico, 80
miles off the coast of Loui-
siana. It was discovered in
1973 and began produc-
ing 15,000 barrels of oil
a day which then slowed
to about 4,000 barrels in
1989.
But then for no logical
reason whatsoever, pro-
duction spiked back up to
13,000 barrels a day.
What the researchers
found when they analyzed
the oil field with time
lapse 3-D seismic imaging
is that there was an unex-
plained deep fault in the
bottom corner of the com-
puter scan, which showed
oil gushing in from a pre-
viously unknown deep
source and migrating up
through the rock to replen-
ish the existing supply.
Furthermore, the analysis
of the oil now being pro-
duced at Eugene Island
shows that its age is geo-
logically different from the
oil produced there after
the refinery first opened.
Suggesting strongly that
it is now emerging from
a different, unexplained
source.
The last estimates of prob-
able reserves shot up from
60 million barrels to 400
million barrels.
Both the scientists and
geologists from the big oil
companies have seen the
evidence and admitted
that the Eugene Island oil
field is refilling itself.
This completely contra-
dicts peak oil theory and
with technology improv-
ing at an accelerating
pace it seems obvious that
there are more Eugene Is-
lands out there waiting to
be discovered. So the sci-
entific community needs
to embrace these possibil-
ities and lobby for funding
into finding more of these
deep source replenishing
oilfields.
The existence of self-re-
newing oil fields shatters
the peak oil myth. If oil is
a naturally replenishing
inorganic substance then
how can it possibly run
out?
The future of oil
This year in particular we
have seen a strong hike
in oil prices and are being
told to simply get used to
it because this is the way it
is going to be. In the wake
of Hurricanes Katrina and
Rita gas prices have shot
up amid claims of vast en-
ergy shortages. Americans
are being asked to turn off
lights, change thermostat
settings, drive slower, insu-
late homes and take other
steps. Meanwhile the oil
companies continue to
make record profits.

Strange smells and dead birds frighten many
in the age of terror

Two incidents that oc-
curred yesterday morning,
dead birds in Austin Texas
and a strange odor across
New York, and the reaction
they elicited, underscores
the fact that Americans
are living their lives on a
day to day basis in abject
fear of being a victim of a
new terror attack, despite
the fact that they have an
equally dangerous chance
of being struck by light-
ning. Welcome to the Unit-
ed States of Hysteria.
Just as New Yorkers were
heading to work, a strange
gas-like odor began to per-
meate the air from Man-
hattan to northeastern
New Jersey, leading many
to fear a dangerous chemi-
cal had been released and
a biological attack was un-
derway.
Schools, roads and office
buildings were evacuated,
subway stations closed,
commuter trains re-
routed and 911 calls bal-
looned. Mayor Michael R.
Bloomberg called a press
conference to allay fears
that terrorists had struck
again but simply in the
act of doing so, raised the
specter of 9/11 once again
to remind Americans who
their bosses were in times
of perceived crisis.
The smell has still not yet
been fully explained, al-
lowing rumors to fly and
paranoia to percolate.
Meanwhile, in Austin Tex-
as, reports began to filter

found around the area
of Congress Avenue and
police officers feeling ill.
Blocks were closed off and

Fears of a bird flu outbreak
or an attack circulated
before the event was dis-
missed as a case of mun-
dane poisoning and the
streets reopened.
Despite the severity of the
incident being downgrad-

dents to a KXAN news
story were still convinced
that bird flu was the cul-
prit. Others were more
cynical. “Maybe this is just
another government tac-
tic to sell the garbage they
call vaccinations against
Bird Flu. Maybe it is some-
thing people need to wake
up to - scare tactics,” com-
mented one.
Yesterday’s scares were
by no means the first time
Americans have been
frightened into believing
that false alarms were ac-
tually deadly terror attacks
in the offing.
Back in May, a faulty con-
struction drill was mis-
taken for gunfire in the
Capitol Hill area. The en-
tire Capitol complex was
placed under lockdown
by federal SWAT teams as
were other buildings and
schools throughout the
city, even those well out-
side the immediate area.
It was quickly established
that there was no gunman
but this didn’t prevent
people fainting and com-
plaining of feeling ill dur-
ing the incident, mirroring
yesterday’s events where
individuals were taken to
hospital. In all three cases,

the cause of the perceived
illness is nothing more
than mass hysteria as a
result of the paranoia in-
flicted upon the psyche of
the nation since 9/11.
It matters not that in al-
most every case officials
are swift to state that the
events do not character-
ize a terror attack, because
even as a precaution the
presence of police, fire
department, Homeland
Security, FBI, National
Guard and a myriad of
other “anti-terror” forces
are immediately deployed
on the ground, giving the
media ample opportunity
to bombard viewers with
more footage of men in
uniforms and bio-hazard
suits with guns “protect-
ing” the American people.
As News Hounds clarifies,
“Such images reinforce the
perception that Americans
live in constant danger
and must keep the grow-
ing police state atmo-
sphere in place regardless
of the cost in terms of civil
liberties. In other words,
“See what could happen,
America? This is why the
government needs to spy
on you, track your phone
calls, and who knows what
else. We’re here to protect
you.”
In reality, as I discussed last
week, peanuts are more
dangerous to Americans
than terrorists and acci-
dent causing deer, light-
ning strikes and swimming
pools all represent a great-
er threat than “Al-Qaeda”
to your life. People get in
their cars and drive down
the highway every day
without fear of death de-
spite the fact that Septem-
ber 11 casualty figures are
surpassed every month on
our roads.
Perception is reality and it
is solely the maniacal hyp-
ing and fearmongering
of the terror threat that
maintains its hold over the
rationality of the general
public. In that sense, the
government and the me-
dia are doing the very bid-
ding of what the terrorists
alone could never achieve
- changing our way of life
by creating a permanent
state of manufactured
alarm.
Were the simultaneous
events in Austin and New
York just a coincidence
or are we witnessing, as
some fear, the preparation
for biological attacks on
major U.S. cities blamed
on Al-Qaeda and eventu-
ally connected to Iran to
justify air strikes against
that country’s nuclear fa-
cilities?

Ex-Agent: CIA Seed Mon-
ey Helped Launch Google
An ex-CIA agent has gone

in detailing Google’s rela-

Intelligence Agency, claim-
ing sources told him that
CIA seed money helped

Robert David Steele, a 20-
year Marine Corps infantry
and intelligence officer
and a former clandestine
services case officer with
the Central Intelligence

Speaking to the Alex Jones
Show, Steele elaborated
on his previous revela-
tions by making it known
that the CIA helped bank-
roll Google at its very in-
ception.
“I think Google took money
from the CIA when it was
poor and it was starting
up and unfortunately our
system right now floods
money into spying and
other illegal and largely
unethical activities, and
it doesn’t fund what I call
the open source world,”
said Steele, citing “trusted
individuals” as his sources
for the claim.
“They’ve been together
for quite a while,” added
Steele.
Asked to impart to what
level Google is“in bed”with
the CIA, Steele described
the bond as a “small but
significant relationship,”
adding, “it is by no means
dominating Google in fact

is on record as having con-

The Guilty Men.
