1. 2. 1234 Who are you Yelling For?! Go Big Blue! 1234 Who are you Yelling For?! Go Big Blue! This cheer starts with a 1-2-3-4, count, and each number has a different move. So I think we should break down the beginning of this cheer by number. Start out in a High V formation, standing on your tippy-toes. Now yell out 1. From your high V formation, you are going to swing your arms around and cross them in front of your body while you do a tuck jump. A tuck jump is when you jump up and tuck your knees under your body. You want to end this move with bent knees in the high V position. Bring your arms to your sides. Stand up tall. For the next part of the cheer you are going to chant, who are you yelling for and clap 4 times. For the final part of the cheer, Go Big Blue, you are going to be doing three arm movements, one for each word. For go, step out the right and form an L shape with your arms. Your left arm should be straight up and your right arm should be pointed out to the side. Both of your hands should be in fist formation. For the next step, move your L to the other side of your body.

And when you step to the right you kick back your left foot. You will also be clapping at the same time using the blade formation. That means hold your hands straight and stiff as a board. Pretend your fingers are glued together! To end this section: Freeze at the end of the chant with your legs and your hands together. For spelling out B: When you say B, get on your tiptoes and fold your arms. They should look like a genies, with the right arm over the left arm. Guess what? Thats called the Genie! E!: When you say the E, bend your knees and flex your elbow so that your arms are bent up to look like a goal post. A: Just raise your arms up into the touchdown position, palms turned in toward your face. G-G: When you say "G-G" you need to bring your arms back down to the position they were in for the letter "E." Bend your knees and flex your elbow so that your arms are bent up to look like a goal post. R: When you say R, go back to genie arms. E-S-S: Now go back to the goal post position you did for E and GG. I: Keep your arms in the goal post position. V: Bend your arms down into a lower touchdown position. 1. A blade is when your fingers look like they are glued together in a point. Your hands are straight and stiff as boards. Keeping your fingers tightly together like this instead of loose and sloppy makes your cheer more dramatic and gives you a nice clean line. A fist is when you crunch your hands up in a ball like youre holding a candlestick. Dont bend your fist. Keep it straight. It packs a real punch into your cheer! Try them in a cheer, Rip em up, tear em up. First learn the words Rip em up Tear em up Lets go blue!
