The Confession

I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever a Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John Baptist, to the holy Apostles peter and Paul, to all the Saints, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word, and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech the Blessed Mary, ever a Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. the Priest goes up to the altar, saying:

Take away from us our iniquities; we beseech you, O Lord, that we may enter with pure minds and hearts into The Holy of Holies. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
When priest bows before the alter,:

We beseech you, O Lord, by the prayers of . . . . here kissing the altar stone . . .and all the saints, that you would deign to forgive us our sins, Amen.
INTROIT
Varies according to the season. The following is of the Holy Trinity.

Blessed be the Holy Trinity, and undivided Unity; we will praise Him because He has shown his mercy to us. Psalm viii. O Lord, our God, how wonderful is your name; even to the utmost boundaries of the earth.
GLORIA IN EXCELSIS
omitted on weekdays, Masses for the Dead, also in Lent, Advent, etc. unless the Mass be of a saint

Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you. We give you thanks for your great glory. O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty, Son of the Father, who takes away the sins of the world, receive our prayers. Who sits at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For only You are holy, Only You are Lord, Only You are most high, O Jesus Christ, together with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen O Lord hear my prayer Let us pray. And Let my cry come unto you.

Then are said the COLLECT, EPISTLE, GRADUAL, AND TRACT AND GOSPEL.

May the words of the gospel wipe away our sins and bring us unto the fullness of life.

Here follows the OFFERTORY Prayer as in the proper

OBLATION
And the Priest shall then offer, and shall place upon the Altar, the Bread and the Wine and after mixing a small amount of water with the wine say:

Receive O Trinity this oblation which I , an unworthy sinner, offer in your honor for my sins and offences, for the salvation of the living and the reposed of the faithful departed. In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Then the Priest bows before the altar:

In a humble spirit and with a contrite heart, may we be accepted by You, O Lord, and may our sacrifice so be offered in Your sight this day as to please You, O Lord our God.
Priest blesses the Bread and Wine:

Come, O Sanctifier, Almighty and Eternal God, and bless, + this sacrifice prepared for the glory of Your Holy Name.
Bowing in the middle of the altar, Priest says:

Accept, most Holy Trinity, this offering which we are making to You in remembrance of the passion, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, Our Lord; and in honor of blessed Mary, ever-Virgin, Blessed John the Baptist, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, (and of Saint "N.") and of all the Saints; that it may add to their honor and aid our salvation; and may they deign to intercede in heaven for us who honor their memory here on earth. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen
Priest then reads in a low voice the SECRET

World without end. Amen O Lord hear my prayer. And let my cry come unto you THE PREFACE
Here the Priest says the appropriate Preface from the proper or the following.

It is indeed fitting and right, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give thanks to You, Lord, Holy Father, almighty and eternal God through Jesus Christ our Lord; by whom the angels praise Your majesty, the dominations adore it, the powers tremble before it; the heavens, the heavenly virtues, and blessed seraphim, with common jubilee glorify it. Together with whom we ask that we be admitted to join our humble voices saying:
Holy! Holy! holy ! Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are filled with your glory. Hosanna in the highest. + Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

The Anaphora of St. Ambrose Most gracious Father, make right, spiritual, and worthy for us this offering which is truly the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ; Who on the day before he suffered, took bread into his holy hands, looked up to heaven, to you, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, giving thanks, he blessed, + broke, and gave it to his apostles and disciples, saying: Take and eat of this, all of you, for this is my Body, which shall be broken for many. In the same way after supper he took the cup, looked up to heaven to you, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, giving thanks, he blessed it, + and gave it to his apostles and disciples, saying: Take and drink of this, all of you, For this is my blood. As often as you do this, you make remembrance of me, until I come again. Therefore Father, calling to mind his glorious passion, his resurrection from the dead, his ascension into heaven, and ready to stand at his coming again, we offer to you, this holy and perfect sacrifice: this holy bread and cup of eternal life. We ask you to take up this offering by the hands of your Angel to your altar on high, as you accepted the gifts of your just servant Abel, the sacrifice of our father Abraham, and the bread and wine offered to you by your priest Melchisedech. Instructed by Your saving precepts, and following Your divine directions, we now say (sing): Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses; as we forgive them that trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil . Priest puts a particle of the Host into the Chalice, saying:

May this mixture and consecration of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ be to us that receive it effectual to eternal life. Amen

Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, * have mercy on us Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, * have mercy on us Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, * give us peace O Lord Jesus Christ, Who has said to Your Apostles: Peace I leave you, My peace I give you, regard not our sins but the faith of Your Church, and be pleased to give her peace and unity according to Your will. Who lives and reigns God, world without end. Amen. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, Who, by the will of the Father, with the cooperation of the Holy Spirit, have by Your death given life to the world, deliver us by this Your most sacred Body and Blood from all our sins and from every evil. Make us always cling to your commandments, and never permit us to be separated from You, Who with the same God the Father and the Holy Spirit, live and reign, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Here Priest bows then, Taking the Host in his hand, saying:

I will take the bread of heaven, and call upon the name of the Lord.
Receiving reverently both parts of the Host saying:

May the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ preserve my soul to life everlasting. Amen
Before taking the Chalice, saying:

What return shall I make to the Lord for all He has given me? I will take the chalice of salvation, and I will call upon the Name of the Lord. Praising will I call upon the Lord and I shall be saved from my enemies.
Receiving the Chalice, saying:

May the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ preserve my soul to life everlasting, Amen,
Then, taking the first ablution, the Priest says:

Grant, O Lord, that what we have taken with our mouth, we may receive with a pure mind, that of a temporal gift it may become to us an eternal remedy.
Taking the second ablution, saying:

May Your body, O Lord, which I have received, and Your Blood which I have drunk, cleave unto my heart; and grant that no stain of sin may remain in me who have been fed with this pure and holy sacrament, Who lives etc
Then the COMMUNION antiphon from the proper

Let us pray
The POST COMMUNION prayer from the proper. Bowing before the altar, the Priest says:

Let the performance of my homage be pleasing to You, O holy Trinity and grant that the sacrifice which I, though unworthy, have offered up in the sight of Your majesty, may be acceptable to You, and through Your mercy be a propitiation for me, and for all those for whom it has been offered. Through, etc.

Anima Christi Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O good Jesus, hear me. Within Your wounds hide me. Separated from You let me never be. From the malignant enemy, defend me. At the hour of death, call me. And close to You bid me. That with Your saints I may be Amen.
