3.2.1.2 PERFORMANCE OPERATING WEIGHT

To comply with the performance requirements of the aircraft manufacturer, the maximum
allowable takeoff and landing weights may be less than structural limits.

The maximum allowable weight for that flight that must not exceed the least of the
following weights:

− Maximum allowable takeoff weight for the runway intended to be used (including
corrections for altitude and gradient, and wind and temperature conditions existing
at the takeoff time).

− Maximum takeoff weight considering anticipated fuel and oil consumption that
allows compliance with applicable enroute performance limitations.

− Maximum take off weight considering anticipated fuel and oil consumption that
allows compliance with landing distance limitations or arrival at the destination and
alternate airports.

NOTES:

− All standard weights listed above are typical average weight including carry-on
baggage. Check-in baggage must be weighed and included in the weight and
balance calculation.

− One piece of hand baggage suitable for placing in the closed overhead rack or under
the passenger's seat may be carried on board the aircraft; provided that such
maximum dimensions (the sum of the three outside dimensions) must not exceed
23cm x 36cm x 56cm and the weight of the bag must not exceed 7 KG. (Please refer
to the decision 854/TCT-DVTT)

− For loading non-standard weight groups, such as athletic or military squads and their
baggage, the actual weights for both passengers and baggage must be utilized.

− The number of passengers whose weights are outside the typical range must be
indicated in the Supplementary Information (SI) column of the loadsheet by the load
controller responsible for the weight and balance control of this flight.

The LMC tolerance is: +/- 500 kg. If exceeded, a new loadsheet is required.

The following must be checked :

a. Traffic load only:

- The LMC positive total weight is lower than the underload before LMC.
- No loading limitation exceeded.
- The balance at MACZFW and MACTOW remains within the allowed limits.
- All the LMC data on the loadsheet is completed.
