To start with lets first look at the definitions. Emotion n any strong feeling, as of joy, sorrow, or fear. Emotional adj 1 of, characteristic of, or expressive of emotion. 2 readily or excessively affected by emotion. 3 appealing to or arousing emotion: an emotional piece of music Emotionalism n 1 emotional nature, character, or quality. 2 a tendency to yield readily to the emotions. 3 an appeal to the emotions, esp. an excessive appeal, as to an audience. 4 a doctrine stressing the value of deeply felt responses in ethics and the arts.

Senses definitions Sense n 1 any of the faculties by which the mind receives information about the external world or about the state of the body. God given senses and emotions

God gave us the capacity to feel and to sense. Just because He gave us the capacity to feel and sense things does not mean that everything we feel is from the Lord. From the time we are conceived the enemy has been attacking our feelings and giving us feelings that are not from the Lord. Our senses are like our receiver by which we pick up signals and communication from the internal world and external worlds we find ourselves in. God gave us these senses to be able to feel His presence and His love and joy and peace. The enemy has corrupted our emotions through lying to us. The enemy has come to give us fear, lust, anger, depression, discouragement, stress and anxiety. Just like a TV receiver or satellite dish, we are able to receive signals. The satellite dish is like our senses and the signals that are received can be from Gods Kingdom of light or satans kingdom of darkness. Our emotions and feelings have been under attack from the time we were conceived. The enemy enters into our emotions and thoughts through our senses. These senses are our gates, our eyes, ears, thoughts, imaginations and emotions. He has now implanted much of his evil emotions within us, like anger, fear, lust, envy, depression and discouragement or feelings of failure. These all then grow and develop into thought patterns within our conscious and subconscious minds. These then end up governing much of our lives. Many of these feelings mixed with thoughts become our motives. Motives are like motors that drive us forward.

We are now governed by feelings instead of Gods word. We then allow our feelings to dictate whether we will do certain things or not. How many times do we say, I dont feel like doing that, when all the time our feelings are coming from the enemy. Father wants to restore our feelings and emotions so that our emotions line up with His word and His Spirit. This is the salvation of our souls which includes our will, mind and emotions. When our souls are saved, our thoughts will and emotions will line up with Gods word. We will be filled with peace, joy and love flowing like a river from our spirit. We are so messed up, all because we have been trained to tune in to the wrong channels and signals. We have been fed with garbage from the spirit of the world; therefore our emotions are filled with darkness. We are then controlled by depression, fear, stress, anger, lust etc. We need to tune into Gods emotions and His thoughts each day and ask Him to come and heal us and deliver us from the demonic force ruling in our emotions. When God communicates with us, He talks from within our recreated spirit to our souls and senses. When the devil speaks to us he goes straight for our senses, emotions and feelings

Renewing the mind

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the

mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be

transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God

The word mind in v2 speaks not only of the understanding and intellect but also the feelings. We will only be transformed to the degree that our minds, emotions and wills line up with His word. Unfortunately much of todays teaching only focuses on renewing the mind - like we need to just have renewed thinking in order to be transformed. I have found this is not the whole truth and only changes a person temporarily; most changes will not be deep. This is treating us like automatons that need reprogramming. This lack of understanding comes from not fully understanding the word mind used in this verse includes our feelings. To be set free we need our feelings to be healed, and we need to die to feelings that do not line up with Gods word. Depression and discouragement primary affect our feelings. Therefore we need to set free from any feeling and thought that is against Gods word. God wants to do a deep work in the emotions/feelings. The whole truth is that Jesus came to save our souls, not just our minds. He came to save the whole soul being defined as the mind, will and emotions.

We will better understand Rom 12:1-2 if we see it in context with the message of the saving of our souls and not just our minds. As we see in 1 Peter 1:9 "receiving the end of your faiththe salvation of your souls" and again in Hebrews 10:39 - the end of our faith is the saving of our souls. Jesus wants to renew our emotions not just our minds. Only then will we be transformed.

The goal is to see Jesus renew our emotions, our minds and our wills; and for these to align with His soul.

Where do all the feelings come from? Do we have our own feelings? It works like the mind. There are four sources God, the devil, our own and others feelings.

The emotions that we are given are really the ability or capacity to sense and feel; they are not the feelings themselves. The feelings are generated through the stimuli that we receive each; day both natural and spiritual. Essentially we have to identify what emotions are Gods and what emotions are from satan. Gods emotions that He gives us are Love, Joy, Peace and Godly sorrow Satans emotions are fear, depression, anger, jealousy and worldly sorrow The moment we were conceived the enemy started attacking and infiltrating our emotions. To deal with it is simple: once we discern if the emotions are from the enemy we simply repent for allowing it and resist and cast it out. And then we need to ask the Lord to restore our soul - Ps 23.

The BIG LIE!

The devil has told us they all our feelings are our feelings. They are NOT your emotions if they are not from God. If they are not from God, then they are the devils feelings; which means that this is how the devil feels. This is a very powerful truth once we get it in our hearts. We need to realise that our feelings need to be watched over just as much as we watch over our thoughts, words and actions. We must really know that every feeling that is carnal, which does not line up with the word of God, originates from the breath of the serpent back in the Garden of Eden. We receive this poison the moment we are conceived in our mothers womb. The more sensitive we are, the easier we pick up what the demons feel. If our emotions don't line up with the word, then we just submit to God. We need to then resist the devil/feelings, and they will flee. Then ask God to give us His feelings, for us and for others. Like our minds either have spiritual or carnal thoughts, so our emotions are filled feelings of the Spirit or the flesh. Overall its simple; make a list of all emotions and then see where they come from. Gods emotions are expressed through the fruit of the Spirit. Satan has successfully corrupted the human soul i.e. the mind, emotions, will and body. From the time we are conceived the devil seeks a dwelling place in our souls and spirits. He enters us through thoughts and feelings and sicknesses. Jesus came to clean His temple to make a dwelling place. He has come to drive out the unclean spirits that live in our souls.

So we can see with His eyes and feel with His heart. We can feel His joy and peace and love. What a gift! Receiving the fullness of the new heart from Abba is the key to be set free.

Triggers of the devil

From the time we are conceived the enemy has been attacking and bombarding our feelings and senses, planting negative feelings deep within our subconscious minds and emotions. This is where the enemy has had a deep impact in our souls, creating a dwelling place for a demonic stronghold. These unhealed and unsaved emotions provide trigger points for the enemy to trigger reactions that align with his evil nature of fear, anger, bitterness, strife and slander etc. Whenever someone or something touches these triggers, we cannot help but act in a certain way. Be that losing our temper, shouting, panicking or fighting etc. Now by the power of the Holy Spirit He will take us back to these points and heal us. This is not a work of the person or councillor but the work of the Holy Spirit as He unravels the emotional bondage and baggage that we are walking around with. As the Lord sets us free, there will be less and less trigger points for the enemy to pull that cause us to manifest his evil nature. for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30

God wants to save and redeem our feelings The soul comprises of our mind, will and emotions When Jesus died He died to save our whole person. This includes our soul and body, not just our spirit which was born again the day we received Jesus as Lord and Saviour in our lives. The land that is now left to be saved and inhabited by the Lord is our five senses and our emotions. He came to save and restore our souls. There is an overlap or vital connection between our mind/thoughts & emotions Definition of soul - psyche in Greek

the breath of life; the vital force which animates the body and shows itself in breathing, that in which there is life, a living being, a living soul

2) the seat of the feelings, desires, affections, aversions (our heart, soul etc.) (Strongs concordance) The end or goal of our faith is the salvation of our whole soul mind, will & emotions where we have the mind, will & emotions (feelings, desires & affections) of Christ. whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

Therefore He is also able to save

to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. This is not just talking about our will and thoughts being saved, but also our emotions and all our senses. How does He bring us into this great salvation? Through many trials and tribulations as we see in the preceding versus Peters says, In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,

that the

genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ 1 peter 1:6-7 The literal proof that we have entered His Kingdom and have received the end our faith is joy inexpressible and full of glory that praises and worships God in the trial. How is our soul saved in the tribulation? It is through the revelation of Jesus Christ. As we see Him in His glory we are changed into His image. It is easy to rejoice when life is easy and going well, but its quite another thing when we are going through really tough time. This treasure and genuine faith demonstrated through joy & true worship is far weightier & more valuable than gold. What does it look like when we receive the end our faith? We will rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory in true worship. Now we know why there is little true worship, it takes genuine faith to truly worship God.

Discerning our feelings

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. What feelings are from Him and what feelings are from the spirit of the world? We say or think things like; Im feeling that I am loosing ground, I feel that I am drowning, I am feeling that I am going backwards, I feel that I will be swallowed up by falling behind in my tasks, I have the feeling of being swamped, I feel weak and inadequate, I feel useless Heb 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full

age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Each of these voices and feelings are not from Him and neither are they from us. We were never created with these feelings and were never given them from the Lord. They are the feelings of the spirit of the world, from fear, beelzebub and Babylon. All these dark feelings are not from Him and not from our own senses. Whenever we get feelings that oppress us in anyway, come to Him, He will set you free. Call out on His Name and He will save you. Call out to Abba and Jesus will come to save you as you belong to Him. He loves you ferociously and will destroy your enemies. Each of our enemies has it own set of emotions and senses, and as they come near and start to counsel us with their lies, so we will feel them.

When these feelings come, and we are tempted to doubt and let them take over our soul and increase, its like letting water into a ship. Sometimes we ignore them or try and focus on something else, but they always seem to be in the background somewhere draining our strength and energy. As long as we try and tackle these feelings in our own strength we cannot win. It is not by our might and strength, nor by our own power that you can overcome these feelings of the spirit of the world. It is only through and by His Holy Spirit in us that casts them out and fills us with His senses of the seven spirits and the feelings and senses of the nine fruit of His Spirit. He wants us to eat and partake of His abundant life in His Spirit and not to eat of the fruit of the tree of death. The enemy has lied to us and has said that our emotions and feelings are not important. Yet they are important, He has given us the ability to have emotions where we feel things. The enemy has entered into our emotions and gives us many emotions that are bringing death to us. He lies and says these emotions are how you are feeling. The feeling of loneliness, the feeling of sadness, heart brokenness, anger, or stress are all feelings that are attached to thoughts. Thoughts provoke and release feelings and feelings provoke thoughts. He wants us to surrender our feelings and our emotions over to Him. He can then cast out the enemy, and fill us with Himself. This is His dwelling place that the enemy has held captive for our whole lives. When you are under spiritual attack you will notice that you will feel it in your soul. We need to learn to cry out, Abba Father, save me from these feelings that are trying to control and lead me away from Your love and comfort. The Spirit of adoption is in us, crying out, Abba Father.

Remember any feeling that is from Him will always draw you closer to Him, any feeling of the enemy, will draw you away from Him.

The Truth sets our emotions free Although our feelings do not change the truth, our feelings should line up with the truth. When our feelings do not line up with His word for us, then we need to come to Him. Then Jesus, by His Spirit, will cast out the senses and feelings of our enemy, and fill us with His love, peace and joy. This is the truth, anytime we do not feel as the truth declares, come to Him and bring the feelings into the light of His love and His love will cast out all fear and darkness and heal your emotions. Fear is a spirit that fills our emotions One of the most powerful feelings and emotions is fear. The word of God calls it a spirit of fear. His love is so strong it can cast out all fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love 1 John 4:18

Where His love dwells there is no fear; where fear dwells there is no love. This is why there is always strife where fear is allowed to dwell. The enemy has come to completely ruin and pervert our emotions and cause us to be deceived by their feelings. However, those feelings do not belong to us, but to the enemy who is giving them these false feelings. The enemy deceives people into believing that these feelings are their own feelings, and therefore they accept

them as right and true for themselves, not realising that these feelings are the actual feelings of the evil spirits that are presently touching and influencing them. When we come to Him, He is able to give us rest for our soul. He will fill you with His feelings and senses of His love. When you feel loved, then fear cannot enter in. When you feel fear of stress then love cannot enter in because there is no love in fear and no fear in love. We can ask Jesus to give us His feelings and words concerning the issues that are at hand. His love is not just words; but it is His deepest feelings for us. He wants us to not only know that He loves us; but He wants us to feel His love for us. He is coming to heal, restore and rebuild His childrens emotions, so they can line up with the word which is the truth. He has come to save all of us, spirit, soul and body. This is the role of the Comforter; the Holy Sprit Who is our Helper. He comforts us in all our pain and heals are sorrows. We need to come out of Babylon. Babylon means confusion by mixing. When we mix Gods truth with the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which lines up with our natural reasoning and belief system, we end up being confused. God wants us to throw away the old equations and reactions and take only His word as the last word for our whole lives. Restoring our emotions sets us free from the past One of the reasons we keep looking back is that we are drawn to the unhealed emotions that have held us in bondage by the enemy. Each time we pass through a similar time or experience we are reminded of the pain we had once before and we can even feel

the very same pain if we think of it. Once our emotions are healed and restored then we are free to embrace the future with nothing hindering us.

All of His children go through pain, yet only He can bear their pain. He says, Come to me with your pain and I will heal you and give you rest from the pain. Come to me with your sadness and discouragement and give it me and I will give you rest. My rest only comes through My faith, hope and love that is released into your soul when you come to Me.

God feels our feelings - Jesus feels our weaknesses Heb 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be

touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

To have His heart is our inheritance. With Fathers heart we are to inherit His thoughts, feelings and senses. We are called to be one with Jesus and Father and the Holy Spirit. If we are truly one with Him, we will have Gods mind and feelings. Joy is not just a state of mind, but a state of heart. Gods peace is not just in our minds; but through our senses. Gods love is not just a way of thinking; but a way of feeling and sensing. When someone enters a room they carry a certain presence with them, this happens with all spirits. When a spirit enters us it carries a certain feeling and presence. If this spirit is the Holy Spirit, then we will feel His love, peace and joy in our senses and emotions. If the spirit of the world enters in we will feel anger, fear, oppression, unexplainable feelings. Once the feelings have entered in or even before we feel, the thoughts enter our minds. These thoughts provoke the feelings and senses of the spirit that has entered in or come near to us. Note; the bible says, God has not given us a spirit of fear. So when we feel fear, it only comes through a spirit of fear that touches our emotions with fear. When it touches us, we feel afraid.

Taste and see that He is good

Each person that has ever encountered the Lord, experienced His glory and power, and has felt His goodness within their emotions. Father wants each of us to taste His goodness and to live in this realm of His goodness. To abide in His love, peace and joy means that we not only walk in these, but experience and feel them in our hearts. Thoughts of love pervade our thoughts, thoughts of joy and hope freely move in our minds as we are filled with Him.

We have been taught to ignore our emotions God wants to save our emotions just as much as He wants to save our minds from the darkness within the world. He does not only want our minds renewed, but He wants our emotions healed and renewed. He wants to fill our emotions with His emotions, wherever His salvation enters in, there is joy and peace. Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You

will make me full of joy in Your presence. Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the

love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us The net result of being full of His Spirit is love, joy and peace. If we are not feeling and experiencing His peace, love and joy then we

are not presently filled with His Spirit. Note; the word in Romans five is past tense, our hearts were filled with His love the moment we were saved. The problem is that we leak. When we hope and trust in God we will not be disappointed. The moment we turn and look to our situation and circumstances we start to feel afraid, anxious, stressed, overwhelmed etc. Even though we were filled with His love, we have lost the love, the moment we look to our selves and to others and to our situation. The only way we keep His love flowing in our hearts is by looking at Him. The result of the further baptism with His Spirit will not only be praying in tongues and power, but, eating of the fruit and tasting of His goodness. The enemy has succeeded in stealing the kingdom from us each time we are not feeling His love, joy and peace in us. He lives in us, therefore we should feel what He is feeling for us and others around us. It is the same as when we can feel the feelings and emotions of those who live with us and are in the same room as us. How much more should we not feel His goodness in our emotions? We can ask Him to fill us daily with His feelings; firstly for us and for Him, then for others around us. Our feelings are like waves of the sea that are tossed by every wind that blows into our lives. Psalm 93:3-4 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.

The Lord on high is mightier Than the noise of many

waters, Than the mighty waves of the sea. Gods emotions are not like this; His emotions are stable and constant, He will never be tempted to be afraid or stressed. The moment we believe and receive His emotions, we are shifted from

the waves of the sea to the rock of Gods feelings, which are solid and secure. Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Psalm 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It shall

rejoice in His salvation. When we are feeling any emotions that oppose Gods word and His feelings; then we need to immediately discern that this is an attack from the enemy. Just as if we feel any sickness or symptom of sickness that is not a word of knowledge etc. Note: with a word of knowledge sometimes God allows us to feel the persons pain so that we will know where it is and we can ask them if they have pain there etc. When a symptom of flu attacks us we must know this is not Gods will and we resist it with everything in us. We need to do the exactly the same thing with emotions that are evil and have no life in them. We can submit them to God and then resist them like we do with sickness in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; of salvation, He righteousness, As For He has clothed me with the garments has a covered me with the robe of bridegroom decks himself with

ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. It is possible that everyone that comes near to us can be touched and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. This means they will feel the love and joy that is flowing in and around us. The more we become His dwelling place the more His presence and power will be on us. This light and life will touch others and will drive out the darkness in us. The world is hungry and dying, they are looking for

heaven on earth, they are looking for some real joy and peace, they need to feel and see it in our lives. When they are hungry we need to feed them with joy and peace that is in our lives. This fruit is not based on our circumstances as God never changes and is not ever discouraged or depressed or afraid no matter what. As we become one with Him so we will feel what He feels, and our emotions will become one with Him. When we have the emotions and senses of the Lord, then we overcome the senses of the world. The senses of the Lord are love, peace, joy, godly sorrow. The senses of the world are lust, anger, envy, jealousy, fear, stress, anxiety, depression, sorrow of the world. Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Walking in the rest of the nine fruits of the Spirit will result in love, peace and joy. When we walk in faith, then we will feel and experience His peace and joy. As the substance of faith results in joy and peace. Faith is the spiritual material or substance of the thing that we are trusting God for. This faith substance will result in joy as we are justified through faith. Justification through faith results in His righteousness, which releases great joy and peace in our souls. In the reverse, when we fear, we are in sin. This then results in self justification, which results in confusion and having no peace. Mark 5:34 And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction. Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we

have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Laying down our emotions and feelings As darkness increases, so the enemy is seeking to deceive us through flooding the earth with his emotions, feelings and words. Each word that is spoken comes with some form of spirit and feeling attached. When we watch and listen to TV and read newspapers, the words do something to our emotions. These violent winds of feelings and thoughts cause confusion and darkness to spread all across the nations. Rev 12:15-16 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.

But the earth helped the

woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Psalm 18:4-5 The pangs of death surrounded me, floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

The Lord will give strength

to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

To walk in Fathers emotions and feelings we need to first lay down all our emotions, feelings and thoughts that are contrary to His will and word for our lives.

All the negative feelings are feelings we have are received from the spirit of the world and from the enemy of our souls, who are in our feelings and minds. We need to start with laying down our burdens and problems, and then we need to lay down our feelings, tiredness, fear, anxiety, stress, feeling of uselessness, discouragement. All these feelings come from the spirit of the world, they are not our feelings or Gods feelings, but the feelings we have been deceived into eating and feeling what the enemy feels and says. We need to repent for eating these and believing in them and the lies of the enemy, and then receive by faith the feelings of love and joy and peace in our hearts.

We can never overcome the enemy while filled with his emotions
The enemy will always tempt us to trade Gods emotions for his emotions. He will offer us fear, stress, anxiety in exchange for our faith, peace and love that God gave us. This is how the devil steals Gods childrens most valuable inheritance. The moment we allow our emotions to become subject to the spirit of this world, we come under his heavy burden and difficult yoke. The negative evil emotions become our burden to carry; that is not of the Lord. His word clearly tells us how to handle these false burdens from the enemy. Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. heart, and you will find rest for your souls. easy and My burden is light.

This rest is not in activity, but the rest for our souls the rest that only comes from His emotions and thoughts flowing through our souls. God is able to bring us to place where we fight from a place of rest. Even while we work hard in the natural, we are at complete rest knowing our God is with us and fights for us. We simply rest in the truth that we have the victory as our God has never ever lost a battle.

Faith has nothing to do with how we feel Faith is not a feeling, but the grace of God given to us based on His word in our hearts when we believe. Faith is based on the word of God. Faith is now, and is not future based like hope. Faith says it is done, as we ask in faith God says it is done! No matter how we feel, faith in Gods word works regardless of how we feel. When we operate in faith our feelings will need to eventually line up with the truth of His word. If we feel sick it has nothing to do with whether we are healed or not. If we feel depressed it has nothing to do with the truth that Jesus gave us His joy. We receive His joy and healing the same way, we receive all things from God through faith. When we are in faith, our feelings will have to bow to His word. When we have feelings of depression or anger we must resist these as from the enemy and ask Father to release His feelings of love and joy already given to us through the atonement! His feelings are our inheritance; any time our feelings are not in line with His we need to ask in Faith based on His promise in His word.

Worldly sorrow /grief brings death Sorrow from the world, is the pain and sorrow we feel when we experience something that releases grief within our hearts. This type of pain happens when people reject us, or are separated from

us, or a person dies, or we have lack, or we fail at something etc. The enemy seeks to come into our souls with a spirit of sorrow and grief. We then embrace the spirit of grief and sorrow and not the Lord. Worldly sorrow does not lead us to repent and come closer to God; but leads us into some form of worldly comfort for the pain. Some of the comforts of the world are anger, frustration, offence, fear, rejection, self pity, lust and depression. Worldly sorrow now gets us to focus on our pain and fall into the pitfalls of pain. The result of following this path is sorrow, grief, depression, confusion, bitterness and even more pain and death which is separation from God. Any feeling that separates us from our Father in Heaven is not from Him. Godly sorrow leads us to God, worldly sorrow leads us away from Him. We must remember that it is the enemy who is trying to cause us pain all the time. He is focused on our pain and wants to hurt us every day in order to hurt God whom he hates. The enemy uses pain to turn people away from the Lord towards a path of death. The only release from all the pain the demons have, is to cause others pain and see others suffer. This is also true for those who are overtaken by demons and who want vengeance when someone has hurt them. Gods love does not want to see others suffer, but instead, wants to see them forgiven by His mercy and restored to fellowship with Him. Anytime we have the feeling of sorrow or pain, we need to bring it to the Lord and discern where it comes from, as we should do with all our feelings. If it draws us to the Lord into His presence and helps us to focus on His love, then it is from Him. If it draws us away from Him and gets us to focus on the person or situation and our own pain, then it is demonic.

Submit to God
To overcome worldly sorrow we must simply submit to Gods love that says, Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows Isaiah 53:4. We need to understand and have a revelation that Jesus paid for all our pain and grief, and that we dont have to carry it anymore. The devil will tell you, you are suffering for Christ, when in actual fact we are not accepting our full salvation. Just as He suffered for our sin and sicknesses, so that we dont have to suffer death and sickness; so He also took all our pains and grief. This does not mean that we wont go through pain, but it means that whatever pain comes He has paid for it and healed us from it. He came to save us from our grief and pain and heal the broken hearted. We must now believe His promise; and ask Him to heal our hearts from all the pain and grief in our hearts. Allow the Holy Spirit who is our comforter to come in and comfort our hearts. We need to repent for allowing the enemy to deceive us into believing that this pain and grief was from the Lord. When pain or grief comes our way, instead of embracing the pain and grief or even running from it, we need to surrender it to the Lord as He took it all for us and run and embrace Jesus, our Healer. You can come to the wonderful Helper the Holy Spirit and ask Him for His comfort for the pain that you feel. Allow Him to heal your broken heart and pour the ointment of His unconditional love into your wounds. It is very important to know that He does not want you to keep the pain, but wants you to surrender it to Him, as Jesus took all your pain at the cross. The Holy Spirit is the Helper and the Spirit of truth, Who helps us to know and receive our inheritance that Jesus paid for at the cross. Part of our inheritance is His comfort and healing from all our sorrows and pains.

Resist the devil Do you believe this? If you believe this word, then you can move onto the next step in James 4:7 which says: resist the devil! The first step is always the same, submit to God. Submitting to God means we must believe His word and come to Him and obey His word. To release Gods joy the enemy must be removed first and cast out Acts 8:7-8 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. that city. Jesus wants us to now bind up, resist and rebuke this demon of sorrow and grief in the Name of Jesus and ask the Lord for His love and joy and comfort. We have looked at how the winds that satan releases are demonic forces. These winds are the very breath of hell, consisting of lying words and feelings. This breath of hell is what stirs up more evil thoughts and disrupts our peace and unsettles our emotions. Our emotions are like water, now become like the waves of the sea. Soon we feel overwhelmed as our feelings which now have become waves of the sea of emotion are getting bigger and bigger, making us feel like we are going to drown. Once we feel like this we start to panic and do even more damage to ourselves and those around us. We start to accuse those who are around us like they dont even care, as the disciples woke Jesus from His rest and accused Him of not caring if they drown. It is very important to see how Jesus handles such a storm in the natural and in the spirit. When Jesus was in the boat in the storm with His disciples, He was at rest and sound asleep on a pillow. When was awakened He first rebuked the wind and then He calmed the sea. He rebukes the spirits/wind that causes the waves. He went to root problem. The wind was sent by satan to kill Jesus and His disciples, the wind was not sent by His Father as He would not have rebuked it if His Father had sent it. Once the wind stopped, He then released His peace into the sea (our emotions). We can use the very same method that Jesus used to overcome the storm when we are in a storm. Psalm 107:29 says, He calms the storm, So that its waves are still First rebuke the wind. The wind is the demonic words and feelings that are causing the attack and this wind/confusion is busy stirring up everyones emotions. He told the disciples in Luke 10:19 that He gave them authority over all the power of the enemy. The enemys

power is released through his words and emotions that are sent to deceive us and take us captive. We are taken captive when we accept his lies and believe the lie, this deception is called unbelief. The emotions which are the waves need to be calmed by speaking peace to the souls emotions. After He got rid of the devil around the boat, He got rid of the devil in the boat. Jesus then goes on to show us the reason they failed and rebukes their unbelief and lack of faith. Jesus calms them down and gives them His peace Psalm 131:2 says, Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me Jesus was fully expecting them to do what He had just done. So now when we are in the storms of life, He is expecting us to do what He did with the disciples in the boat. If we dont do this we will be overcome by the storm because our unbelief and lack of obedience. The obedience in this case is to submit to God and resist the devil. How many times do we allow the storms in life to come and go without even rebuking the enemy? When the storm comes we get paralysed with fear and stress and just standby and watch satan steal, kill and destroy the people around us. If we have faith then we will speak to the problem Jesus said, to his disciples after this crisis was over. How is it that you have no faith? How could He say such a thing to them, the storm was their fault? He had taught them how faith works, Matt 17:19-20 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why could we not cast it out?

Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. They were expecting God to do something, while God was expecting them to use their faith and authority that He had already given

them to stop the storm. His word is enough, and when we release it from our mouths in faith, then it will come to pass. Jesus had already instructed them to go to the other side, satan was trying to stop the mission of God. When we speak words in faith then God performs the words that we speak.as faith creates. Only when we have peace and faith in our hearts in the midst of the storm will be able to stand up and crush satan under our feet. Rom 16:20. This peace comes from having complete trust and faith in Jesus to take us to the other side. We need to understand that we have authority over the winds of hell that satan is releasing against our lives, families, businesses and ministries and cities. The gates of hell will not prevail against His church. The main battle in the storms of life happens deep within our hearts. If we have faith we will arise and take authority over the forces of hell coming to steal from our homes and lives. We do not have to accept worldly sorrow or any other demonic emotion as they are not part of our inheritance and neither are they one of the nine fruit of the Holy Spirit. He has promised us joy and peace. The spirit of grief and sorrow comes to rob us of our joy and peace. Godly sorrow always leads us to a change of heart and this always brings forth joy and peace. Once we have resisted the enemy and bound him up, we must now loose Gods love, peace, joy and comfort into our hearts and houses.

Prayer of surrender and repentance

Abba Father I cry out to You to rescue me from this flood of darkness that is trying to steal and destroy my life. This great flood from the serpents mouth that seeks to carry me away from fellowship with You. Father I come to You today and I surrender all my feelings and emotions to You. Deliver me from this great flood thats surrounds my heart, my emotions, my feelings and thoughts. You are King over the flood. I come to you and surrender my heavy burdens and all my negative emotions and feelings. I now surrender and lay down at Your feet the feelings of anger, the feelings of revenge, the feelings of envy, the feelings of fear, the feeling of a lack of love and not being loved and appreciated, the feeling of rejection, the feeling of confusion, the feeling of worldly sorrow, the feelings of pain, the feelings of lust, the feelings of discouragement, the feelings of anxiety, the feelings of unbelief and doubt, the feelings of stress, the feelings of inferiority, the feelings of superiority over others, the feelings of tiredness, the feelings of being a failure and being useless. The feeling that I am drowning, the feeling that I am going backwards, the feeling of loosing everything, the feeling of weakness and inadequacy. I now repent from these and say I am sorry Father for allowing the spirits of world to deceive me and come into my life. I now resist these spirits of the world; in Jesus name I bind you. Father I ask that would bind them now for me in heaven and come and cast them out of my heart and life in Jesus name. Jesus I lift up my head and ask that You would come riding on Your white horse and set me free from this darkness and come and abide in me in Your fullness. Holy Spirit I pray that You will come now cleanse me, comfort me and heal me from all the filth and wounds of these feelings that have tormented me my whole life.

I ask You Father to give me

Your emotions and feelings from Your heart. Your feelings of love and being loved and the feeling of peace and the feeling of joy right now. O that I may now taste and see that You are good. Give me Your feelings and Your eyes so I can taste and see that You are good. Thank You Father for giving me this as my inheritance as it is Your good pleasure to give me the Kingdom. The Kingdom of Your righteousness, the Kingdom of Your peace, the Kingdom of Your joy, the Kingdom in Your Holy Spirit. I now receive Your manifest presence. Holy Spirit my Friend, come and take over completely and fill me with You, so that I can cry out Abba Father whenever I feel the flood of great waters of these ungodly false feelings and emotions. You are my strength and My strong tower thats surrounds me in the time of trouble and darkness. Save me from this great flood now and fill me and flood me with Your love and peace and joy!!! That I would be consumed and overflowing with You and Your emotions in me, through me, to the nations.
