December 4, 2010 Documentary Film Reaction In 1968 the earth is relatively a comfortable boundary to live in.

Until one day in 2005, there came a hurricane Katrina the most devastating disaster to hit America. Not to mention some other form of adversities that life encountered. Why after a span of time we are faced by some kind of chaos. There is a remarkable increase as to the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Glacier melts year by year and todays CO2 is getting higher and higher that is was recorded that in the year 2005 it was recorded the hottest. Ocean temperature is even higher that storm is some parts of the country, hurricane after hurricane is experienced in some other and floods are seen in India and China. Man-made causes probably do the most damage. There are many man-made causes. Pollution is one of the biggest man-made problems. Pollution comes in many shapes and sizes. Burning fuels is one thing that causes pollution. When fuels are burned they give off a green house gas called CO2. Since CO2 contributes to global warming, the increase in population makes the problem worse because we breathe out CO2. Also, the trees that convert our CO2 to oxygen are being demolished because we're using the land that we cut the trees down from as property for our homes and buildings. We are not replacing the trees (an important part of our eco system), so we are constantly taking advantage of our natural resources and giving nothing back in return. The faster build up of heat in the North Pole causes sea-ice to drop after the next 15 years it is completely gone. Increasing global temperatures are causing a broad range of changes. Sea levels are rising due to thermal expansion of the ocean, in addition to melting of land ice. Amounts and patterns of precipitation are changing. Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns increase the frequency, duration, and intensity of other extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, and storms. Other effects of global warming include higher or lower agricultural yields, further glacial retreat in Antartica, and species like mosquitoes and vectors boost, new diseases like SARS, TB, avian flu and virus in North America. Global population is another aspect for consideration which put pressures on food, natural resources, water and the like. Although global warming is affecting the number and magnitude of these events, it is difficult to connect specific events to global warming. Although most studies focus on the period up to the next couple of years, warming is expected to continue past then because of giving out of carbon dioxide proportionate the increasing population in the world.
