Be an example of the believers

Introduce myself. 1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man adespise thy youth; but be thou an bexample of the believers, in word, in cconversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in dpurity. Today I want to talk about just 3 of these things that have a daily occurrence in my life. First: Charity Cheer Quote: Tell story about how the girl had a muscular dystrophy and only had a year to live. She was constrained to a wheel chair and could not move her arms and legs very much anymore. Her dream however was to become a cheerleader. Allowed her to be on the team and accepted her for who she was. The girl noticed that they thought about other before themselves and that was a normal thing for them. How to show charity: One of the cheerleaders stated: You just really have to love who you are around, and you have to love the gospel and you cant be afraid to show that. Ether 12: 34 And now I know that this love which thou hast had for the children of men is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father. Second: Being a Good Example:!
Brigham Young said: We should never permit ourselves to do anything that we are not willing to see our children do. We should set them an example that we wish them to imitate. 4 Each of us can start today by being that good example. How can we be an example of the believers? Mary N. Cook stated

*Young Men and young women, you can start today by being an example of the believers in faith and in purity. Strengthen your faith and testimony daily through scripture study and

prayer. Keep your baptismal covenant, which will keep you pure and worthy of the guidance of the Holy Ghost. You can start today to be that example for others to follow.
*In high school it is extremely hard to do this. Getting up on time for seminary, wearing modest clothes when it feels like only you are, using appropriate language. All of these things are problems that we youth face on a day to day basis. But when we stand strong and do the things that we need to we can one day live with our heavenly father again. Lastly: *Sharing the Gospel can be hard but if we pray for help and strength Heavenly Father will bless us with the spirit and we will be able to say the things that are needed.

1 Nephi 10:17 And it came to pass after I, Nephi, having heard all the awords of my father, concerning the things which he saw in a bvision, and also the things which he spake by the power of the Holy Ghost, which power he received by faith on the Son of Godand the Son of God was the
cMessiah

who should comeI, Nephi, was ddesirous also that I might see, and hear, and know

of these things, by the power of the eHoly Ghost, which is the fgift of God unto gall those who diligently seek him, as well in times of hold as in the time that he should manifest himself unto the children of men.

We just need to go and ask and he will help us!

Sharing the gospel does not always have to be you going up and talking to someone about it. President Monson states: You can share your testimony in many waysby the words you speak; by the example you set, by the manner in which you live your life.

*Zach has all these false things against Mormons. By not being afraid of what I believed in I was able to have an amazing and ongoing missionary experience.
