Additional fees
The following additional fees are applicable :
1. The Annual Fees for research students covers registration, supervision and examination. An additional fee of 400 is payable by students o ering themselves as candidates on a second or subsequent occasion. A fee of 200 is payable by students for the re-assessment of a dissertation forming part of a postgraduate taught degree programme. For the higher degrees of DLitt, DMus, LLD, DDS, DVM, DSc, DEng and PhD by published work all candidates pay a fee of 820 (inclusive of a 74 precognition fee where preliminary application for the degree is required by the regulations) on submission and, where re-submission is authorised, on re-submission of the thesis. A fee of 120 is due when a thesis is submitted after the period allowed for submission has lapsed. Those members of University sta in receipt of a tuition fee scholarship pay a fee of 635 on submission or resubmission for the degree. Research students whose full-time attendance and fee payment began after the rst term of their rst year pay the full-time tuition fee due up to the end of the period of supervision recommended by their supervisor. Research students who are certi ed by the Head of School or Research Institute as having completed practical work and as not requiring further supervision or departmental facilities may matriculate for use of the library as non-supervised students at a fee of 90. Examinations-only students pay the registration fee of 90. The General Council fee is 55.

General notes
1. The exceptions to standard fees listed are correct at the time of going to press. However, you should check the fee level applicable to your course of study at the time of your admission. Special fee levels apply to students whose place of ordinary residence is the Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Details may be obtained from the Registry, see www.glasgow.ac.uk/registry. Fees quoted are for new entrants. Lower fees may apply to some continuing students. Details may be obtained from the Registry. See www.glasgow.ac.uk/ registry. International students may, in certain limited circumstances, be admitted to parttime study paying an appropriate percentage of the relevant full-time international fee. Special fees apply to members of sta undertaking part-time study. Details may be obtained from www.glasgow.ac.uk/services/humanresources/ tuitionfeespolicy.htm or from the Registry or Human Resources. Students who are eligible by virtue of previous attendances to sit degree examinations must enter for the examinations at the normal registration period at the beginning of the session and pay a registration fee of 90. Late fees are charged at 3% with a minimum charge of 5. Late fees will not be charged to sponsors. An additional charge will be made on payments made by credit card. 2.
