WIRCS UNIQUE ATTEMPT TO REACH TO EVERY STUDENT OF THE REGION WIRC is pleased to organize 2 days non-residential, Regional Students Conference to help the students in understanding the opportunities available to the Company Secretaries in different fields / sectors, viz.: manufacturing, Legal, Banking, Insurance, Finance etc apart from the conventional company law field, consequent to the changing face of the profession of Company Secretaries. This Regional Students Conference is aimed at developing the students to aspire to become a complete professional who can cope up with the ever changing requirements of the profession. Conference will have Moot Court, Corporate Quiz, Paper Presentations, Elearning presentations, Interactive session with Institute Officials, Capacity Building, Cultural Evening etc. Days & Dates

PAPER PRESENTATION: CS Students are invited to contribute papers for various technical sessions. The following are the topics for writing the paper: o Role of Company Secretary in Indian Judicial System o Contribution of a CS to Corporate Governance o Company Secretary or a Chartered Secretary o Companies Bill 2009 o Company Secretary - An indispensable necessity or a Legal Burden o Company Secretary - An emerging Leader of the Corporate India o The profession of a Company Secretary on the background of Changing Requirements o Company Secretary - a Company Law Specialist or a Corporate Manager? o Company Secretary - A Facilitator or a Whistleblower? o The profession of Company Secretary - The Changes we foresee
Six paper writers will be selected for presentation in the conference. No

Joint Paper writer is allowed.

Selected Students shall be given 10-12 minutes to present paper in the

Two best presenters will be felicitated suitably in the conference Interested students should submit a soft copy of paper (in PDF Format) in

duplicate not exceeding 1000 words along with hard copy for approval so as to reach the Thane Chapter and by email at ahmedabad@icsi.edu not later than 1st August, 2011.
