KSPCB proposes to appoint consultant to assist in the implementation of solar power project. The approximate cost of the project is Rs. 97.50 Lakhs. The broad scope of work envisaged for the consultant is stated below: Scope of work: The consultant is expected to assist us in carrying out all activities related to implementation of 50 to 1OO KW Solar power project at the roof terrace of Nisarga Bhavan situated in Saneguravanahalli, Bangalore. The project consultancy work has been divided into two phases: Phase I: 1. Laying down the technical specifications for the Tender and preparation of Tender document. 2. Preparation of Estimate 3. Basic Engineering 4. Detailed Engineering designs. 5. Construction and commissioning supervision

6. Project Management 7. Operation and Maintenance related specifications. 8. Energy Audit and Benchmarking Services 9. Evaluation of the technical bids. 10. Assisting in pre-qualification procedures to shortlist the successful tenderers. PhaseII: 1. Inspection and expediting equipment. 2. Site management includes - supervision of erection and commissioning activities. 3. Certification after completion of the project as per specifications. 4. Preparation of maintenance schedule including repair & maintenance activities.

Expression of Interest (EOI) is invited from consultants meeting the following pre-qualification criteria: 1. Pre-Qualification Criterion The tenderer should meet all the following pre-qualification criterion: (a) Be a company / firm having its registered office in India and in operation for at least three (3) years as on due date of bid (b)The company should have the experience of having successfully assisted the customer to prepare request for proposal, its evaluation and order placement as well as implement contracts for design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and O&M of large scale Grid connected solar PV power generation plants with at least one project of minimum 20 kWp ( Grid connected) capacity at single site & having cumulative installed base of 50 kWp ( Grid connected) or more (c) The applicant should furnish details of its capabilities to be deployed for design, engineering, installations supervision and including manpower. (d)The applicant shall produce documentary evidence received by them from any of the Indian customers for an on-going project under JNSM (Jawaharlal Nehru Solar Mission - MNRE) for a minimum capacity of 1 MW solar farm anywhere in India. 2

(e) The applicant should have good track record and should not have been black listed /banned for participation in tenders issued by any entity, government / semi-government organization in India/other countries as on date of submission of EOI. (f) Have a positive net worth as per the audited Financial Statement (Profit & Loss Account) for the year 2009-10 & 2010-11. (g)The consultant shall furnish details of Service Tax Regn./ PAN In addition to the above documents, the applicant shall submit following documents: a) Photographs of projects that have been implemented. b) The consultant should submit an affidavit stating that they have no tie with or preference for any of the manufacturers/distributors/suppliers of technology duly attested by Notary (on Rs. 200/- denomination stamp paper). GENERAL CONDITIONS: (i) No extra cost will be entertained towards site visits/ attending meeting/transportation/ to & fro charges/ towards boarding & lodging charges etc., The consultant shall visit to the site and attend meetings on pre intimation without fail on his own If services rendered by consultant found to be unsatisfactory, the Member Secretary is empowered to terminate the contract The offer with conditional tender will not be accepted

The responsibility of assisting in availing certificates/ incentives from MNRE/ KREDLE lies with consultant The consultant/ agency shall quote on the basis of percentage rate (on completed cost of the project), which shall be inclusive all statutory taxes. Ref. vide SCHEDULE B for quoting. KSPCB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers without assigning any reasons thereof. 3
