When is the Campaign Period? The 15% Cash Back campaign starts from 15th November 2010 till 28th February 2011 What is this promotion about? This promotion awards American Express Card members a 15% cashback on their purchases during this festive season, at all American Express Card Accepting merchants located in selected malls in Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Johor. Who is eligible to participate in the campaign? This campaign is applicable to American Express Charge & Credit Cards issued by Maybank & Maybank Islamic. The Campaign is NOT applicable for CORPORATE CARD. The campaign is applicable for the following Cards: 1. The Platinum Card 2. American Express Platinum Credit Card 3. Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum Card 4. American Express Gold Charge Card 5. Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer American Express Gold Charge Card 6. Do I still enjoy my 2x points or Merchant discount on top of the 15% Cash Back? Yes, the 15% Cash Back is in additional to the generic TreatsPoints or Membership Rewards points and over & above discount/savings offered by Participating Merchants. What is the maximum Cash Rebate that I am eligible for? The Cash Back is capped at RM150.00 per Customer (Principal Cardmember only) per tracking month, and subject to a maximum payout of RM1,000,00.00 per month and RM4,000,00.00 per during the campaign period, whichever is earlier, and based on first come, first served basis. How will my cashback be tracked? Each month during the Campaign period is hereby known as (Tracking Month) will be as follows:Month 1 : From 15 November 30 November 2010 (both dates are inclusive) Month 2 : From 1 December 31 December 2010 (both dates are inclusive) Month 3 : From 1 January 31 January 2011 (both dates are inclusive) Month 4 : From 1 February 28 February 2011 (both dates are inclusive) When will the cash back be credited into my card account? The Cash Back will be credited into the card account 4 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month

If I have more than one (1) American Express Card, which card will the 15% Cash Back be credited to? : The Cash Back will be credited to the American Express Card account of the highest product Category, 4 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month. The American Express Card products hierarchy is as listed below: i. The Platinum Card ii. American Express Platinum Credit Card iii. Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum Card iv. American Express Gold Charge Card v. Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer American Express Gold Charge Card vi. Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer American Express Gold Credit Card vii. As the cashback process is automated, we are unable to credit it to a card of your choice. It will be credited to your highest category account 4 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month. Can Supplementary Card members enjoy the 15% Cash Back as well? Yes, Supplementary Card spending are entitled to the 15% cashback and it will be aggregated with Principle Card and credited into Principal Card account of the highest category account 4 6 weeks after the end of each tracking month* (please refer tracking month in T & C) Do Supplementary Card members share the same cap for the Cash Back? Yes, principle and supplementary cards share the maximum capped of RM150 Cash Back per tracking month

How do I verify which of my transactions are eligible for the Cash Back? As all transactions will be automated via system, we are unable to confirm it via telephone. However, as long as the transactions are made at merchants that accept American Express Card at the Selected Malls, you will stand a chance to receive the Cash Back. Please note that the maximum payout is of RM1,000,000 per month and RM4,000,000 during the campaign period, on first come, first served basis. If I use the American Express Gold Credit Card at Cold Storage at IKANO Power Center, am I eligible for the Cash Back and the 5x Membership Rewards Points? You will be eligible for the 5X Membership Rewards points, however, please note that the Cash Back is not applicable for transactions made at supermarkets/hypermarkets which are located in the selected malls, for example: Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer and Isetan Supermarket. What about transactions made at bookstores like MPH or Borders? Transactions made at bookstores located within the selected malls are eligible to receive the Cash Back and also the 5X Membership Rewards points if charged to the American Express Gold Credit Card. What about transactions made at the Departmental Stores? Yes, all transactions made at department stores located at the selected malls are eligible to receive the Cash Back, for example: Isetan, Jusco Departmental Store, Metrojaya, Parkson and Tangs. Is the 15% Cash Back promotion applicable to malls located out of Klang Valley ? Yes the Cash back campaign is applicable at selected malls outside Klang Valley i.e Aeon Tebrau in Johor and Gurney Mall in Penang. I have sent in an sms and got a confirmation of enrollment for the 15% Cash Back promotion but have not received the cash back ? Sir / Maam (if our records reflect the customer statement to be true) we will retrospectively credit your account from the date of enrolment. Sir / Maam, our records indicate your SMS registration was received on XX / XX / XXXX (Date) and the credit amount will be auto-awarded for your qualified transactions (qualified transactions at the malls captured AFTER date of SMS registration) in your statement.
