Objectives: 1. To practice the duties and responsibilities of a student head nurse. 2. To have an introduction between head nurses and student nurses in cooperation with the clinical instructor. 3. To orient the student nurses in the assigned hospital area, the setting, the tasks and responsibility assigned upon them. 4. To further enhance preservation and retainment of nursing skills and principles through assignments, reports and requirements. 5. To promote an individualized primary care to attend the needs of the patients. 6. To assist in giving medication with the supervision of the Clinical Instructor and utilize nursing process to improve the quality patient care. 7. To apply the Core Competency Standard that will serve as a unifying framework for nursing education, regulation and practice. PLAN OF ACTIVITIES WEEK 2 (July 14, 2011) Area: Jose C.
