This assignment consists of five (5) parts: Part A, B, C, D, and E. Carefully read and follow the instructions for each part to ensure that you correctly complete this assignment. Ensure that you staple all pages of the assignment together. Use this page as your cover sheet.

Assignment Instructions for Part A: Conduct a Time Audit

Do you ever find yourself wondering, Where has the time gone? Well, now is your chance to find out. In this assignment you are to observe and record how you use your time during a given week. Heres how you do it: 1. Your instructor will assign you a specific week during which you will conduct your time audit. Enter these dates on the Time Audit form or other weekly calendar form you prefer. Carry the Time Audit form with you during the target week. Dont forget and leave it in your room. Every hour, or when it is reasonable after an activity, record what you have done during that hour. Be specific in describing what you diddont just say studied. Identify the subject your studied, pages read/written, problems worked, etc. Record what you did, not where you were. That is, record that you studied for USU 1300, not that you were at the library. Record your time in 1-hour increments.

Assignment Instructions for Part C: Make a PlanCreate a Weekly Schedule
You have conducted a Time Audit and Time Audit analysis to determine how you used your time and to identify any areas where your use of time was not effective. At this point, you will create a weekly schedule that you believe will allow you to use your time in ways you can achieve the academic and personal goals you have for yourself. Use the Daily Calendar form or other weekly calendar form you prefer. Ensure that your weekly schedule, at a minimum, accounts for: classes and labs tutoring and SI sessions study hours sleeping and eating work commuting or travel to/from school and work extracurricular commitments regularly scheduled weekend activities Consider these questions as you create your weekly schedule. Assignment Instructions for Part D: Planning Your Semester
