The strong aspects of the research paper are: 1. The title Technology and people factors in knowledge management: an empirical analysis is very apt and is aligned with the research work. 2. The abstract is written in a very precise and apt way which describes the need and objectives of the research. 3. Research was conducted using a number of methodological approaches, such as ethnography, social constructionism, semi-structured interviews and empirical surveys. This helps in validating the results of the research from various approaches. The paper thoroughly describes the research methodology and the follow up strategy used for increasing the response rate to the questionnaire. 4. The paper mentions that for gaining an understanding of how empirical research had previously been applied within the KM field, an extensive literature review was conducted, along with secondary exploratory research. This emphasizes the importance given to Literature review and secondary exploratory research. 5. To provide statistical support for research propositions and questions, data gathered for the research were analysed using a number of statistical techniques processed through SPSS version 9 which helps in authenticating and validating the results of the research. 9. A pilot study was conducted with a good mix of people from top management, middle management and admin people before the implementation of the actual research which ensured that the actual research would be a success. 10. In the data analysis and overall results section of the paper the organization surveyed are grouped into five categories(all rounders, clutchies,techies,non viewers and non starters) depending upon the parameters given by the MeCTIP model which gives an easy classification and better understanding about the way Knowledege management is implemented in these organizations.
