INTERPRETATION OF MY RESULTS

According with the results, my Teaching Perspectives Profile is Individual. Transmission 30.00 It shows that I could be good teacher, because according with this I could clarify misunderstandings, answer questions, make efficient class time, and provide feedback, because being a teacher requires a total knowledge of the subject that will be taught in any given course. I think all teachers should present contents accurately and efficiently, in that way students will be beneficiated. Apprenticeship 30.00 The result shows that I can identify what students can do in their own and where they need support, advices or directions. Teachers have to know the capacity of the students and set tasks from simple to complex in order that students can learn better. Developmental 30.00 In this one, the result shows that, as a teacher I could understand what students think or feel. Also, could help students to change some negative ways of thinking into the positive ones by talking to them. The different students viewpoints could make me plan and conduct my teaching along the learning process. It is important that Teachers create an environment, in the classroom, in which students can feel comfortable and express their ideas or beliefs. Nurturance 35.00 It was my highest score, and it shows that as a teacher I could motivate students to be productive in life. In that way they can solve problems by their own efforts. I think all teachers should be in that way, support students and give them the tools to become professionals in life. Social reform 30.00 The social reform result shows that I am able to encourage students to take critical stances to give them power to take social action to improve their own lives and the others. It is important that teachers can help students in developing critical thinking, in that way students can take their own choices.

CONCLUSION

After analyzing my scores, I consider that TIP is a useful site in which we can identify what could be our role as educators, and I agree with the result I obtained, because it showed me the different teaching perspectives I could have. This information is very useful for me because I did not know my perspectives in the teaching field.
