Here are represented chips, used in copiers 5911, 5915, 5921, Xerox Vivace...

, WC415, Lexmark, Minolta, Epson and etc.

Immediately we must note that except classical and all accustomed package TO92, these chips can be in SOIC-8, TSOC-6, unpackaged or the others. Note1: Don't use this hardware and software represented on this page for symmetrical line chip, taken from copiers HPLaserJet series 1xxx/2xxx/4xxx. These chips not work with protocol 1-Wire and can be damaged. The Author takes out of itself all responsibility for any possible consequences.

As is already noted, here are presented facility for work with 1-Wire. The chips from device of the type WC415 or RX5915 and etc. the most equially to microcircuit DS2502. Its have 128 bytes EPROM (or OTP- one time programming), divided into four 32-bytes pages, 8-bytes page Status and 8-bytes ROM. Its work with classical 1-Wire protocol. Differ from DS2502 its Family Code 89H and nowhere declared in DallSemi its UNW-identifier. In device of the type Minolta, Lexmark are used chips DS2432 or same microcircuits. Its have 128 bytes EEPROM, divided into four 32-byte pages, 8-byte ROM and page of Secret and user installation. Its work with classical 1-Wire protocol and use Family Code 33H or B3H. Sometime they use not declared DallSemi datasheets 1-Wire commands. Sometime OverDrive-Technology used by these copiers. Offered here program reads such chips, thus software no put any special requirements to computer and is possible to say if on Your computer is installed and works one of the operating systems Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP and there is COM-port, capable to work at velocities 115200 baud, that this there is wholly sufficient condition for correct functioning the program. Note2:Program was tested and works under system Windows95 also and Windows95OSR2, but without some drivers of these systems, causing critical error with functioning on chipset i845, i848, i865, i875 and their analogue. On ancient matherboard there are no of such problems, but testing the program on old machine was not provided. The program supports hardware presented here. The Author does not pretend on making the most simplest interface for work with such device, but on his opinion, this is the most cheap and the most available hardware (without use the high-priced microcircuits same DallSemi). However, there is possible to use any inverting separator bidirection line an input/output. Some examples of such hardware for transistors or inverting microcircuits with opened collector are represented on Hardware.

The transistors in this hardware are any npn-type micro-power with voltage collector-emiter not less 15V and cut-frequency not less 1MHz (as judged by reference book, that is possible to say - any micro-power transistors npn-type). The Diodes - any pulsed with inverse voltage not less 15V. Pins names of connectors DB-9 and DB-25 COM-port here. Software consists of: 1.Chip_1Wire.exe - run-unit of program. 2. Chip_1Wire.ini - configuration file with programm setting (will create after first programm start).

For download program press button (zip-archive 200k).

Note3: Here is present Demo-version of the program. In this version some options is inaccessible. Commands Match, Search ROM, write commands and etc. are represented in full version of program.

Emulators of these chips and their technologies are designed and available for order.
The emulator is micro-device working on protocol one-wire line (1-Wire). It (the device) supports all commands of this protocol, has free required by customer contents of ROM, EPROM and Status-Page and successfully changes the original chips. At the end of the cycle to usage emulator is easy rewritten for the further use. Ther is possible the fabrication "eternal" emulator. Necessary to note that in view of determined novelty of this project author does not possess the sufficient amount of dumps original chip. Besides, we have not dumps for all models of copiers. And this fact needs to take into account at order of the emulator.
