education,anenlighteningexperiencewherebyitsoondawns
uponyouthatthereismoretomedschoolthanthemere
irritationsofACS,CMLandofcoursePMR.ThatcantbesoI
hearyoucry,butalas,giventime,allfreshersare,infact,
moreconcernedaboutfocusingtheirattentionsupon
zigguratchallenges,negotiatingaStephenHawkins(adrink
beforeyouask),andattemptingtounderstandwhyJames
OBrienisSTILLtalking.
Secondlyofcourseyouhaveeducation.Again,moreofan
unofficialapproachtomedschoolthatwillinevitablyinvolve
youattemptingtolatchontoamemberoftheolderyearsina
mannernottoodissimilartothatofalimpet.Henceforthyou
willride(/flounder)intheslipstreamoftheolderandwiser
studentinaparasiticmanneruntilalluseful(orotherwise)
knowledgehasbeenexhausted.
Thirdly,andaccordingtosomemostimportantly,is
education.Turnuptostuffandyougenerallypass.DoEXTRA
stuffandyougettoexperiencesomeoftheaspectsof
medicineyouwouldntnormallyintheclassroomorlibrary.
Thatisourgoaltosupplytheopportunitiestodothese
thingsandhopefullyenhanceyourtimehere.
Inconclusion,educationisimportant,butyoucantdoit
alonesoENJOYfreshers-andmakethemostofyourtime!
