Step/Time Set induction (5 minutes)

Teacher & Pupils activities 1) Teacher plays a song entitled ten little Indian boys via the radio. 2) Teacher asks pupils to listen to the song and identify numbers that are used in the song.
3) Teacher randomly picks pupils to

state the numbers that are used in this song. 4) Teacher then tell pupils about the topic for today. Presentation (15 minutes) Flashcards of numbers in both numeral and word forms (11-20) 1) Teacher shows flash cards of numbers in numeral forms and asks pupils to state the numbers. 2) Teacher randomly picks pupils to spell the number stated in flash cards. 3) Teacher then shows the

numbers in word forms and asks pupils to pronounce and

spell the numbers. 4) Teacher repeats the procedure until all the numbers are introduced to the pupils. Practice (20 minutes) Flash cards of numbers in both numeral and word forms (11-20) 1) Teacher randomly pastes the word cards of the numbers (numeral & words) on the whiteboard. 2) Teacher divides pupils into two groups 3) Teacher explains to the pupils how to match the numbers with their words. 4) Each group is provided with flag. 5) Teacher randomly points the numbers on the whiteboard and groups that raise their flag first will answer the questions. 6) Each correct match will be given a point. 7) Group that has the highest points will be the winner and teacher will give the groups stickers as rewards. Production (15 minutes) 2) Word search puzzle on numbers. 1) Teacher gives a word search puzzle pupils. Pupils are asked to paste the on numbers to the
