USER MANUAL MICTSETA PROVIDER ACCREDITATION ONLINE SYSTEM

Introduction
The system has been designed to assist MICT in determining and assisting potential provider accreditation applicants by capturing company information for phase A applications on the system. The work flow allows MICT to perform their functions more effectively, efficiently and economically. Employers will apply for accreditation and ture information on the system with regards to their resources; It will provide the applicant with a set of policies from MICT The user will have to identify the Assessors and moderators within their application Provide information of their sites and addresses Scope they would like to be accredited for The system will require the applicant to electronically sign off a declaration that the information is true and correct

The online provider accreditation system is mapped to the MICTSETA ETQA /LP system that will ultimately enable accredited training providers to enter and capture learner details.

A. System access
The system can be accessed from either of the following URL addresses: http:172.16.252.5/cdas/isett.asp http:196.4.89.14/cdas/isett.asp

The user will click on the pointing hand to access the online provider accreditation system.

Step 1: Select the icon on the MICT login page Provider accreditation as shown below

Step 2: Once the user has clicked on the link the following screen will appear. Select (click) the radio button for new application and click on Start

Step 3: When the new application radio button has been selected, the user will then be prompted with the following screen Terms and Conditions:

Step 4: The applicant will be required to go through the terms and conditions documentation and MICT policies. Once this has been completed, the user then ticks the boxes and selects the Next button. Step 5: After reading the terms and conditions (ensure the user has selected the tick boxes for each); the next page will be opened:

Step 6: All the fields with an indicated atrix * (mandatory fields) must be completed in order for the system to process the users organization information details. The user will therefore require an SDL number for his/her organization. Take note that these fields to be completed are what the system requires for the users provider details to be captured and processed successfully. Organization details are a requirement for the SAQA NLRD uploads and therefore fields must be completed as per this requirement. Please note: You must select the save button before clicking the next button.

The applicant will be required to fill out the following details under Step 2:

Contact Persons details The details of the contact person will be required; this will be the person that the Seta communicates to in terms of the application form. Site information This part of the form will require the user to add site information. The form is optional as not all organizations have sites. A number of sites can be added, there are no limitations to the number of sites added. Step 7: Addition of Scope The applicant needs to indicate the scope that the company would like to be accredited for. The qualifications and/or unit standards will then need to be selected. This can be done by selecting the search buttons for both. The applicant can view already linked data by clicking on the icon.

The applicant will then be presented with the choices of qualifications and/or unit standards to be selected to form part of their application. Please note these programmes need to be evaluated by MICT before being awarded.

A code is selected by clicking in the check box next to the applicable code. Select save after completing all the scope necessary. Step 8: Completing the assessor/ moderator / facilitator details

If more than one assessor, more can be added by pressing the add new button. When completed the save and next button can be clicked for the next page to display. Step 9: Declaration Form

As per the example screen shot taken above, the applicant will need to select the signed electronically tick box. Tick the box and then click save and next Step 9: The Application Form Display:

This section of the application process allows the user to either submit form or go back to still make any changes. The applicant has the option of printing the page and can also first copy the page to a word document to be saved for their own records.

Step 10: Once the applicant has completed all of the above steps successfully, an automated email will be sent through to MICT to process your online application. The applicant will then be contacted from MICT administrators.
