EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We analyze the 8 production lines of a bubble manufacturing company; we use the statistical techniques to analyze all the units in each run of production lines, using column graphs and pie chart we try to find out the answers towards the low inconsistent production of some of the production line, approach to a solution that we have to check the quality of raw materials, come up with technical advancement in the bubble production and train the workers to be efficient in proper optimization of resources. Briefly explain the results of the study here.

INTRODUCTION
The case study is about the data analysis of a Bubble producing company named as South Sea Bubble Company. The company has eight production lines which produces bubbles for five runs in a week. We use the statistical Techniques and depict these datas using bar graph and pie chart, and try to find out the reasons for low production in some of the lines and come up with a solution to improve productivity rate.

METHODOLOGY
A. DATA COLLECTION All the eight production lines are assigned a worker and provided with a bubble machine and asked to produce bubbles, after the first run of the bubble production, inefficient workers in the production lines were fired and the place were taken up by a new set of workers, line 5 is provided with a defective bubble machine, which after first run is passed on to line 8, which leads to the decrease in the production of bubbles in line 8. STATISTICAL METHODS UDEDUsED:

1.

MEAN

It is the sum of the data divided by number of measurements. It is the most common measure of central tendency and represents the average value in the sample.
2.

STANDARD DEVIATION

The standard deviation is equivalent to the average of deviation from the mean and expressed in the same units as the original data. It is also square root of variance. 3. FREQUENCY In statistics frequency is the number of times the event occurs during the experiment or study.

ANALYSIS
1. Total Units Produced by the Production Lines in a Week

From the above Column graph we can infer that the Production Line 1 and 7 have considerably good performance than the other production lines, which shows that the workers in the production line 1 and line 7 are working efficiently and which results in the better production of bubbles.
2.

Performance Stability of the Production Lines in a Week In this graph we use two statistical techniques i.e. Mean and Standard

Deviation of the production lines and present it on the column graph.

MEAN STANDARD DEVIATION

PR UC OD TION L INE'S

From the above graph we see that Production Line 1,5,3,7 does not have much deviation from the average units produced in a week, so they have better stability from the other production line, whereas we see that Production Line 8 has a considerable deviation from mean this is due to the problem with bubble machine after the first run of production, which decreases the production in the further run, which is being depicted in the graph.
3.

Overall Production of Bubbles in Each Run in the Production lines: We consider all the runs irrespective of the production lines, and see all the production runs in the different lines and make three basis based on the frequency of bubbles produced in the run.
11

Frequency Units Produced less than 10 units in a run 19 Units Produced from 11 to 20 units in a run 13 Units Produced greater than 20 units in a run Total 8 40

Percentage 47% 33% 20% 100%

From the pie chart we see that in the majority of runs the units of bubbles produced is far below average, which is of a greater concern, the reason for the lower production may be due to wear tear of the machine or the workers may not be skilled enough to produce the bubbles. The other reason may be because of the raw materials which might not be of good quality.

12

CONCLUSION
The four best production lines in term of production stability are line 1,3,5,7 and we should try and distribute the workers from high production line to low production line. We should regularly check the wear and tear of the bubble machines. We should also have a quality check on the raw materials provided for the production of the bubbles to increase the productivity and come up with the latest technology machine for the production of bubbles and provide trainings to the workers to become more skilled in producing the bubbles.

The paper good analysis. However, some issues are still missing: (1) report the average and (2) perform analysis of performance over time (time series).
