This device was designed to control standard hobby radio control servos via a PCs USB port. Standard RC servos need a power supply of between 4.8 and 6 volts. They also have a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal input which controls the angle of the servo. This device supplies up to 6 such servos with a 5V supply and the PWM signal to control the servo. The combined load of the servos should not exceed 3 amps. It takes an external power supply of anywhere between 7 and 30 Volts to power the servos. The on-board AVR microcontroller is powered directly from the USB port.

This embedded operating system is one, which takes care of all the control activities. Here we used three or four RF receiver unit for detect the emergency vehicle`s coming side. This system can program by c language and using keil C software. Controls section has regulated power supply to give the power to microcontroller and whole circuit. This project mainly used for LED dot matrices for displaying information both static and animated text and images. In this project, we are creating basic structure of a monochrome (single color) LED dot matrix and it is interface with a microcontroller to display static characters and symbols. We are using the PIC18F2550 microcontroller on the Start USB for PIC board, but this technique is applicable to any other microcontrollers that have sufficient I/O pins to drive the LED matrix. In a dot matrix display, multiple LEDs are wired together in rows and columns. This is done to minimize the number of pins required to drive them.

In this project speed of DC motor is directly controlled speed proportional to the DC voltage applied across its terminals. Hence, if we control the voltage applied across its terminal we actually can control its speed. PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) wave can be used to control the speed of the motor. Here the average voltage given or the average current flowing through the motor will change depending on the ON and OFF time of the pulses controlling the speed of the motor i.e. The duty cycle of the wave controls its speed. On changing the duty cycle (ON time), we can change the speed. By interchanging output ports, it will effectively change direction of the motor.

Our project EB automation aims at atomizing the EB meter reading and billing process. The various areas especially rural sites associated with the EB department are continuously monitored. Energy meter units will count by photoelectric sensor and it gives the signal to microcontroller. Then microcontroller will send the date to EB department`s phone through wireless by GSM modem. This motivates us to introduce the solar panel which will be used for an electrical power generation. In our project the solar panel is used to convert the solar energy into electrical energy. In this project we are using electro voltaic type solar panel. As per requirement solar panel can be designed in compact size. The output part of the solar panel is given to the regulator circuit and then the regulator output is given to the LTC4060DC TO DC convertor IC section. In this paper High intensity discharge lamp (HID) presently used for urban street light are based on the principle of gas discharge, thus the intensity is not controllable by any voltage reduction method as the discharge path is broken. White Light Emitting Diode (LED) based lamps are soon replacing the HID lamps in street light. Thus intensity control is now possible by pulse width modulation based on sensing the movement and density of vehicles. The pulse width becomes very narrow on sensing no movement of vehicles. As the vehicle moves forward, the intensity goes on increasing for few lights ahead, and as it passes away the intensity goes on falling. Thus this way of dynamically changing intensity helps in saving a lot of energy. A programmable microcontroller is engaged to provide different duty cycle for different intensities at different density conditions.
