The Board of Regents of the Western Mindanao State University, Normal Road, Baliwasan, Zamboanga City formally and publicly announces that the Search for Presidency is NOW OPEN. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants for the WMSU Presidency must possess the following minimum qualifications: 1. Must not be less than thirty-five (35) years old and not more than sixty (61) one years old on the date of the application for the position. 2. Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen. 3. Must be a holder of an earned Doctoral degree. 4. Must have proven track record as an administrator (such as President, Vice-President, Campus Administrator, Dean), preferably in Higher Education Institution (HEI) whether in public or private, for at least a period of five (5) years. This must be supported by documents (e.g. Certification or Special Order from the concerned party) stating the managerial, professorial and/or administrative experience and the period covered. 5. Must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or of any crime involving moral turpitude.

Any applicant who does not meet any one of the above-mentioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit pertinent supporting documentary evidences shall be disqualified from the search process.

Documentary Requirements Interested applicants must submit one (1) set of original and eight (8) certified photocopies of the following documents to the SCP Secretariat: 1. Formal Application Letter addressed to the Chairperson of CHED 2. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), duly notarized. 3. Certified true copy of documents in support of the data stated in the CV 4. Applicants Proposed Vision, Mission, and Development Goals for the University 5. Certificates/Clearances from the following government agencies, obtained not more than one (1) month from the date of filing of application indicating that applicant has no pending administrative and/or criminal case/or no conviction: Sandiganbayan Ombudsman Civil Service Commission (CSC) National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Institution/Company where applicant is presently employed

6. Duly accomplished CSC Form 212, duly notarized 7. NSO-authenticated Birth Certificate 8. Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a physician from a government-recognized, accredited health institutions but not the same institution where the applicant is presently employed 9. Results of Neuro-psychiatric examination conducted by a physician from a government-recognized, accredited health institution but not the same institution where the applicant is presently employed 10.Drug test result from government recognized, accredited drug testing center within one month from the date of filing of application
