SCADAPack
Compact, versatile controller for telemetry and remote SCADA solutions
Ever-expanding SCADA systems, focused on gathering process data from geographically dispersed remote sites, are placing increased demands on engineering and maintenance personnel. In an environment of shrinking operational budgets and rising labour and material costs, finding the right controller that can do more for less is crucial.
With energy costs on the rise, alternate sources such as solarpower are being increasingly exploited wherever challenging power conditions exist. Controllers that consume less power and can easily interface with solar infrastructure are needed.
In recent years, government agencies have been instituting stringent environmental, security and safety regulations. As a result of several high-profile cyber-attacks and environmental disasters, public and governmental awareness is at its highest level. Noncompliance to the regulations can be dangerous for users and the environment, and very expensive if fines are levied.

and communications capabilities of remote terminal units (RTUs) with the processing and data-logging power of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), providing superior functionality wherever remote processes require automatic supervision and autonomous control.
04
SCADAPack controllers offer an array of flexible connectivity and programming features that reduce design and implementation time:
Wide range of connectivity options: easily retrofit into legacy system, or expand current system
Integrated Trio wireless radios: extend operational range without affecting control panel footprint
Built-in radio
Flexible programming options: easy-to-use, multi-language tools for all skill levels
05
Gas flow metering (O&G) or pump control (W&WW) combined with data logging, PLC control & RTU communication in one device
An integrated data-logger provides enhanced control and data logging capabilities that increase operational efficiency and reduce cost
Controller and sensor all in one package
Remote configuration and diagnostics features allow system deployment and maintenance tasks to be executed from a centralised location over existing communication infrastructure.
Low-power models achieve significant cost savings due to the smaller solar panel/battery size required to power the unit

Water/Wastewater Solutions
Optimised for remote pumping networks
SCADAPack E controllers offer all the features and benefits of the SCADAPack with the added capabilities of DNP3 and IEC 60870-5. They have an embedded historian allowing time-stamped event logging for extended periods of time. Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3) provides flexible, secure communications between devices. Ensuring that there are never holes in the data even when communication links go down, DNP3 reduces the number of costly and timeconsuming maintenance trips to the field. AGA12 encryption protects DNP3 data transmission using unique security keys, ensuring data integrity for billable applications or critical operations.
