11-39280 (COMMERCIAL BURGLARY) Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp are investigating a commercial burglary which occurred at 1453 E Michigan Ave. Investigators were called to Beacon Hair Design on 8/16/2011 for an incident which occurred sometime during the night. Investigators determined entry to the building was gained though a back doorglass was broken out of the door. No items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made at the time of this posting. The incident remains under investigation.

11-39342 (HOME INVASION) Deputies from Ypsilanti Twp were called to the 1700 block of McCartney Ave for the complaint of a residential burglary. Police were contacted on 8/16/2011; investigators believe the break-in occurred during daytime hours. Entry was gained through a back door. No property was reported stolen. The incident remains under investigation.

11-39388 (HOME INVASION) Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Twp are investigating a break-in which occurred in the 200 block of Fairhills Dr. Police were contacted on 8/16/2011; investigators believe the incident occurred during the past few days. Multiple items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation. Stolen Property: 1 Samsung 32 flat screen TV 1 Acer NAV70 netbook 1 JVC digital camera Unknown quantity of coins 1 Sony Playstation game system

ARREST INFORMATION
11-39247 (DRUNK DRIVING ARREST) On 8/16/2011, at approximately 2:00AM, deputies from Ypsilanti Twp arrested a 32 year old male for suspicion of drunk driving. Deputies were called to the area of Rawsonville Rd and Martz Rd to investigate a single-vehicle traffic crash. During their investigation, deputies determined the driver had been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Field Sobriety Tasks were conducted at the scene. The driver was taken into custody without incident. A copy of the police report will be forwarded to the Prosecutor for review.

11-39389 (PROSTITUTION ARREST) Deputies from the Community Policing Team in Ypsilanti Twp arrested a 26 year old suspected prostitute on 8/16/2011, at approximately 5:00PM. Deputies were in the area Campbell Ave and E Michigan Ave when the suspect was encountered. The arrest was made after deputies observed a solicitation. The arrestee was turned over to the county jail without incident. A copy of the police report will be sent to the Prosecutor for review.
