Physics Olympiad : Among the top 35 candidates in India selected to attend the Orientation cum Selection Camp for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), in, Iran, 2007 and awarded a Gold Medal in Homi Bhabha Center for Science and Education, Mumbai. Placed in the national top 1 percent of around 42,245 candidates in the National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP) in the year 2007. Chemistry Olympiad : Placed in the top 1 percent of the candidates in the National Standard Examination in Chemistry(NSEC) in 2007. PROJECTS
PROLOG Interpreter : Implemented a mini Interpreter for the Logic Language PROLOG, in SML, as a part of Programming Languages course. Demonstrated Prolog programs and handled queries for the same in the interpreter. Pintos : Analyzed a bare-bones operating system called pintos. Implemented threads, processes, virtual memory and file system on top of this to have in the end an operating system bootable on real hardware. A Gaming Service : We automated the integration of various gaming related services and their deployment on virtualized hardware infrastructures. We took an open source multiplayer game and integrated entities such as VOIP-based messaging services, Instant Messaging services, and TWIKI pages of players to enhance the gaming experience. ABC : Designed and implemented a tiny functional language (as a part of Programming Languages course) for computing expressions supporting multiple data types (integer, Booleans and reals) and variables. Wrote the tokeniser, parser and the compiler for the same in SML. Designed an Online Travel Facilitation Service : The aim of this project was to make an online travel agency, where people can go and plan their trips, choose hot destination, see interesting photographs, look for accommodation and can use the social networking service. We used Google Map API and Flickr API to make this web based search engine Designed a MIPS 32 Processor : Done as part of course in Computer Architecture. The design was done and implemented using Logisim tool version 2.1.6(Carl Burch, Hendrix College) Designed a Washing Machine Controller : Done as part of my course in Digital Electronic Circuits in Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi. The design was done using Xilinx tool and was implemented on an FPGA 3D Reconstruction : Done as a minor project during the semester, this project involves understanding and analyzing the working of Voxel Colouring and Space Carving algorithms for 3D Reconstruction, and ultimately work towards developing an all in one robust tool which includes auto calibration and 3D Reconstruction
