Model 168, 170, 202, 208, 210 The wiring diagrams also contain combinations of possible variants and functions. Combinations, recognizable as variants, are shown within a frame and provided with an abbreviated designation/ abbreviation. The variants are designated with 1 and 2 in the case of a phasedin modification. The variants marked with the abbreviated designation "U..." are listed in the legends. Explanations regarding identifications of variants with abbreviations such as ETS, can be found in the section "Abbreviations for workshop literature ( A4)". The signal and circuit designations used are explained in the section "Abbreviations of signal and circuit designations for wiring diagrams ( A5)". The vehicle ident end numbers or production break points stated, apply to the introduction of standard production. Preproduction series vehicles may have a lower ident end number or an earlier start of production date. Cable cross-sections may differ from that shown in the wiring diagrams. The feed of the Z connector sleeves is shown by an arrow pointing to the left, the outputs by arrows pointing to the right, as follows: G2 Battery A13 + PEC control module 1/10
The wiring diagrams are assigned to the familiar function groups 00-91. The systems are listed alphabetically in the "Search aid through all wiring diagram groups ( A3)" with an indication of the function group/ function subgroup to more easily find individual wiring diagrams. The wiring diagrams are filed in the respective function group, arranged according to PE number, e.g.: PE07.12-P-2000B PE07.12-P-2000C PE07.51-P-2000A Refer to the tables of contents of the respective function group for the order of the filed wiring diagrams when filing supplements and as a check that the volume is complete, e.g.: PE07.00-P-1100A Survey of wiring diagrams.... The wiring diagrams are issued as system wiring diagrams and the layout is as follows: The representation of a system e.g. ETS, contains all the electrical components up to the feed at the terminal blocks or fuses.
