The contributors featured here are among the ones that have made the greatest number of contributions to the main Early Oldies But Goodies Music Therapy Jukebox & Radio collection. Their uploads are featured here without the benefit of being previewed first, because there are way too many to be able to screen them in advance. Therefore, you may find ones that don't fit the profile for the early years of Oldies But Goodies. You will also sometimes find songs that were big hits in their day that didn't make the cut for the main Jukebox. You'll even find some that are obvious why they didn't sell, and others that are really great but just haven't yet been discovered by us. The ones that have are now in the main Jukebox. The purpose of the Contributors Jukebox is to give you access to music from this era that is not in the main collection yet or may never be. It is also to sing the unsung praises of the major YouTube contributors of Early Oldies to the Internet. Because of them, YouTube has the single greatest amount of songs from that period in the entire world, even with frequent large-scale removals. So this site will become the best portal to the YouTube uploaders, and eventually to other sites of benefit for listeners of this kind of music. Most YouTube contributors use the standard convention of "Artist - Title." When they do, Name order is the same as alphabetical order by artist. However, some reverse that order sometimes, so there may be a mixture of artists and titles. Many times they do not start with either of them, but type something else, or use quote marks, parentheses, or some other symbol. Therefore, you will ocassionaly not find a song where you expect to find it. Since many of them do not omit "the" or "a" at the start of the name, you may have to scan in several places to spot the name you are seeking. You can also still conduct a search, using the EDIT menu and selecting "Find." If the address of the file you are looking at is located on the Scribd website, you may use the "Search within this document" feature near the bottom of the page to locate it as well. You may be able to see videos that have been recently uploaded to a channel since our last update, which are not yet listed on the jukebox here. To do that, you can go to any contributor's YouTube account and access the songs directly from there. To do that, just click on the ID name above. They will usually be listed there in reverse date order, but you can change that by clicking on a heading above the list in the "Player" format. You will only be able to see 48 or 50 videos at a time, depending on whether you are looking at the "Grid" or "Player" format. You can also conduct a search using the YouTube search feature at the top of the screen. You will probably find it to be much easier to scan the list by using the Jukebox on this site than to try to use the YouTube channel. The reason is because you can page up and down the listing easily and see a full screen at a time, along with the entire name of the video. That is mainly due to the space limitations and pictures on YouTube. Eventually, this Jukebox will also allow you to see the songs in artist and title orders for the contributors that bother to make them accessible that way. At the moment, this whole section is still just experimental, so please be patient. There is an awful lot of data to obtain and manipulate.
