STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION Declaration of written result of Combined Recruitment of Constable (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB

Examination- 2011. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the written examination for the candidates who had qualified in PST/PET for recruitment of Constables (GD) in BSF,CISF,CRPF and SSB, 2011 on 5.6.2011 in different centres. 2,63,346 candidates appeared for the above examination, out of which OMR sheets of 31,093 candidates were rejected as per notice for the recruitment and awarded zero marks. As per scheme of the Recruitment, the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination for SC,ST& OBC candidate is 33% and that for General and Ex-servicemen is 35%. There are some states/UTs where availability of candidates with these qualifying marks is limited, while in others large number of such candidates is available. Domicile in a state/UT is an eligibility condition laid down for consideration against vacancies in the State/UT. Keeping these factors in view Commission has fixed the following qualifying criteria for different States/UTs. 3. While processing the result, category/Gender provided by the candidates in the OMR sheets and State/UT codes in the data from concerned regional office have been taken into consideration. However, some candidates did not fill the sex code or left blank in their OMR A/sheet. All such candidates have been taken as male candidates. 4.
The list is PROVISIONAL. The candidates whose roll numbers figure in the list would

be called for Medical Examination subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility conditions/ requirements as prescribed for the post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to thorough verifications of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. If on verification from the application form, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, he/she will not be eligible to appear for the Medical Examination. 5. Particulars of the candidates including their category status as indicated in the result have

been taken from their OMR answer scripts. It is important for such candidates for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per the policy of the Government, to note that if any of them does not actually belong to the category shown against his/her roll number, he/she may not be eligible for appearing in the Medical Examination. It is, therefore, in the interest of such candidates to contact the concerned Regional Office of the Staff Selection Commission immediately in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their roll numbers in the result.

Medical Examination of the qualified candidates will be scheduled by the concerned

Regional Offices of the Commission. Candidates are advised to follow the website of the concerned Regional Offices. The facility of downloading of the call letters will also be available from the concerned website of the regional offices. Tentatively, medical examination, in batches, will commence on 21.07.2011 in different centres.

It may be noted that in case of delayed receipt of call letters, candidates will be allowed

to report to the Medical Examination centre on subsequent days within one week of the date assigned to the candidates in the call letter or completion of the medical examination, whichever is earlier.

The detailed results are also available on the Commissions website (http://ssc.nic.in).

The marks of the candidates will be placed on the website only after declaration of final result of the examination.
