Kind Attn : Mr. Nitin Chakraborty Sub : Erection of Under Ground Work at South Andaman Dear Sir, This is with reference to your quotation & subsequent discussions on above subject matter, we are pleased to place letter of intent for above works, on you as per the following terms and conditions :Scope Scope of your work include survey of HT 33 & 11 KV XLPE underground cabling work at different configuration at different location in Middle Andaman, preparation of HT Cabling line route as per the approved drawing and Technical specifications of Power Grid. The work as defined above shall be erection, testing and commissioning to the entire satisfaction of Sai Electricals & Engineers and SIEMENS/ Power Grid at Port Blair. You should be responsible to avoid damage of any utility e.g. BSNL/ Reliance/Cables and Water supply system if damage cost of repair/change recovered from your RA Bills, any work not covered under above, but required to complete the operational system of the project shall also be included in your scope as required by our ultimate client. T&P All T&P, and consumable item as may be required for erection, testing and commissioning of the U/g HT XLPE cabling work, will be in your scope. The loading,

unloading & dismantling/shifting of cable drums from store and watch and ward of materials to erection siteshall be in your scope. Cost of fine dust and required slabs/ Bricks to cover the trench, dully approved by PGCIL/Siemens will be included in your price as indicated in the Attached annexure which is a part of contract. Mobilization You will mobilize the required resources to the site within 2 days of the intimation in regard to start of work. Quality Assurance Program The entire work will be executed as per the Technical Specifications of the contract and to satisfaction of client. No Re-erection payment shall be made against bad workmanship work. Completion The Scope of work and completion time frame is attached in the Annexure. Rates The rates for different items shall be as per the enclosed annexure attached and shall remain FIRM till completion of project. Surplus Material On completion of the work you will return all the surplus material to Siemens Store at your own expenses. No wastage shall be allowed. During reconciliation if there is any shortage, the cost of the same shall be recovered from your bills. Payment 95% payment shall be made with within 10 days from the date of invoice after completion of every one KM of trench. Balance 5% will be released within 15 days after reconciliation of materials. Safety You shall be solely liable for any accident or injury or loss of life or damage to the property of public/clients suffering to your erection personal during execution. M/s. Sai Electricals & Engineers, Thane, Maharashtra shall not be liable in any respect of any damage or compensation payable as per law in respect of, or in consequence of any accident or injury to any personal in your employment. PF & EPF of employers responsibility is in your scope. You shall ensure total compliance with all statutory requirements. Taxes & Duties The rates are firm and inclusive of all taxes and duties, as applicable. TDS, as applicable under income tax rule shall be deducted.
