This is a list of vocabulary words for those interested in health and fitness.

It's a great list for health classes. 1. abnormal : not normal; not typical or usual or regular or conforming to a norm 2. abstinence :the trait of abstaining (especially from alcohol) 3. accessible :capable of being reached 4. accuracy :the quality of being near to the true value 5. ache : a dull persistent (usually moderately intense) pain 6. achievement : the action of accomplishing something 7. active : tending to become more severe or wider in scope 8. activity : any specific behavior 9. acupuncture : treatment of pain or disease by inserting the tips of needles at specific points on the skin 10. addictive : causing or characterized by addiction 11. adulthood : the period of time in your life after your physical growth has stopped and you are fully developed 12. advocate : a person who pleads for a cause or propounds an idea 13. aerobics : exercise that increases the need for oxygen 14. affect : have an effect upon 15.
