Work Experience: Jan 09 May 09 Kitchen Assistant: The Belvedere Hotel, Queensland, Australia Before undertaking my undergraduate degree I took a gap year between 2008 and 2009. During this year I travelled to Australia and worked as a kitchen helper/assistant in order to finance my travels.

April 07-April 08 Bar Associate, The Royal Oak, Much Marcle I worked as a bar tender and waiter and learned how to utilise electronic ordering equipment and developed basic stock-taking skills. I was in constant contact with

members of the public which allowed me to enhance my inter-personal skills and deal with a wide range of people. April 2006 Work Placement, Gordon Lutton Solicitors, Hereford During my work experience I shadowed a partner and was introduced to day-to-day events that take place in a high street law firm. I reviewed several case files, and undertook basic filing and administrative work. May 05-Sept 05 Database Management, Gordon Laboratories, Cleveland I worked for the company after my GCSEs and helped devise and implement a data entry system. Skills: Languages: IT: Basic Oral and Written French I have advanced IT skills and am more than comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. I have used a range of different computer software as a result of my degree and which have also been used to indulge my passion for writing and recording electronic music.

Interests: Travel: I have visited the USA, Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, Brunei and Malaysia and am keen to travel further in order to broaden my horizons by experiencing different cultures and ways of life. I have recently commenced TEFL course which I anticipate will enable me to indulge my desire to travel. I am passionate about music and play both the guitar and drums. I am a member of a band and spend a lot of my free time developing and creating my own music.
