Today I have not enough time to tell you in detail about these beautiful words . But I assure you there are hundreds of such words having the similarity. The word Eminescu the name of the great poet itself has connections with the word Eminescu in our ancient Vedas and Yogas Eminesc is a kind of yoga which is very similar with life Eminescu lived , achieved and his philosophy he had . The Mihai Eminescu is the only European poet who made India so beautifully and truly, immortal in his beloved country Romania. Eminescu discovered and establish the extra ordinary relation between two old and valuable cultures. Iasi University Museum having his Sanskrit manuscripts shows Eminescuss love for Sanskrit.

Eminescu was attracted to India. It meant to him to study and know the Vedas, Kalidasa, Hinduism and Buddhism. The great Romanian literary critic and historian, George Calinescu very truly said that " all great races are characterized by a profound action of eternity and by making earthly life depend on that absolute. My research project " Indian roots and references in Romanian life, letters and culture" in Hindi Eminescutava and Hindutava discover and proved many Indian roots, references, similarities, resemblances, familiarties effects in Romanian life, letters and culture including great poetic works of Eminescu and Lucian Blaga. And now see some other examples of cultural, historical, religious, and ancient literary similarities between India and Romania. The getae, branch of the Thracians, who believed in the immortality of soul and consider the body an obstacle which should destroy itself at the moment of death. According to them humans should aim at freeing themselves from the body so that the soul could lead its life in the kingdom of Zamolxis a God similar to Bhagwan (God) Varuna of the Vedic Mythology, which is similar to the Hindu concept when the body dies the human soul returns to the infinite spring of life to Hidndu God Brahma. Again the theory of "Amar Atma" or " Naswan Kaya" Vedas and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, Indian Ancient Literature .

By me, in my unmanifested from, this entire universe is pervaded. All being are in me, but I am not in them. Dipte jo grah nakshatra-nikar Sab hai mere much ke ander. Shat koti surya shat koti Chandra Shat koti sarit, sar, sindhu, mandra . (Rashmirathi by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar) I remember one of the stanza of my own poem in this connection what to loose, what to gain, body goes, soul remain, what pleasure, what pain, all destinys game The very famous quotation of a great Romanian which I find written during my visit in the memorial museum( Civic Academey Foundation ) at Sighet in Romania SI VEJI CUNOOAS TE ADEVARUZ , SI ADEVARUL VA FACE LIBERI has connections and resemblance with our saying in Hindu Vedic mythology Indian ancient culture Satyam Shivam Sundram , Satyamev Jayate Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, Indian Ancient Literature . The history of the Dacian-Getic invasion by Roman conquerors is also same how similar to our india's invasion by the Aryans. "Miorita" of the most popular Romanian myth has messege of nonviolence "Ahinsa " sacrifice Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, Ramayana ( Ramchritmanas) the most popular ancieny Drama and folk lore by the Gretest Poet Goswami Tulsidas Indian Ancient Litrature. Folk books like " Alexandria" "Sindipa" are familiar with Panchtantra , Jatak Kathae, and other stories of Indian literary, philosophical and moral values Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, Indian Ancient Literature . Interestingly in Romanian religious art n voronet frescoss monastery , churchs for example we can see sants sitting on lotus flower just as Buddha, and some mythological characters are represented in the Indian (Hindu) sculpures and pictures like Goddess Laxmi, God Ganesha, God Brahma so I discovered the similarities between Hindu temples and Romanian churches etc.... All this made Lucian Blaga one of the greatest poet, philosopher, of Romanian culture said.

Taking into account the level, dimensions and inner proportions of the Romanian culture, it appeared to me (....) that nowhere in Europe the Indian thought get an influence as big as in Romania". In Romanian villages we still see the joint family system like we Indians have . I also discovered and experienced very truly our saying Athithi Devo Bhavo in Hindu mythology which means Guest is our god or saint and Vasudeva Kutambke which means world is one family . The Romanian villagers are extremely generous and kind . I am talking about their hospitality . So life in Romanian villages is very similar with the life of Indian villagers . Modern Romania may be the result of influenced and effects of western world but its very rich ancient literature, traditions , culture are much more closer and similar to Indian ancient cultures . Romania is a spiritual country like India not as materialistic as the western world .Mihai Eminescu the last great Romantic poet brocke up new path of sensitveness to his countrymen. It all is not just by Chance, some of the most important Romanians, George Cosbuc, B.P.Hasdeu, Constantion Brancusi, Lucian Blaga , Mircea Eliade and now George Anca, Mircea Itu, Liviu Bordas , Daniela Tane had been deeply influenced by Indian thoughts or Ancient Indian Hindu Vedic Mythology and Culture. Their creativity and works are sound and solid evidence proving the existence of a more intimate and deep vibrating string reflection, resemblances, roots, References, familiarities and inspiration they experienced and expressed through their creativities. Please Let me mention what Lucian Blaga another great poet of Romania said about the Romanian spirituality " by a total assimilation the indian themes entered into our being and we can uproot them only by destroying vital textures" "Either the Indian values arrived in our culture by a direct or indirect manner these represented for us a word where we discovered our own cultural virtual ties , said Daniela Tane also. Dr. Amita Bose also revealed to Romanians that the Indian soul was not and could not be transplanted to the west. Only the poet of Mioria's country, Mihai Eminescu integrated it into his people's spirituality. Dr. Amita Bose also explained in so many studies to Romanians why " Eminescu was attracted to India. Please allow me to mention here about the Legendry writer Gyanpeeth Awardee Prof. Indra Goswamis very memorable words As I had got deep into Eminessus mind, I had discovered that like the sages of ancient India, the Romanian, too, was very unconcerned about his own Creations. But what really came as a surprise was when I discovered that Eminescu had written a poem on kamdev, the Hindu God of love. The connection of Eminescu to Kamrup had prompted me to write the poem for him. The Red River
Oh my Red River you flow like the blood which flows in my veins.!

Prof. Indra Goswamis is fascinated with Eminescu , She had first recited and dedicated her poem in the honor of Eminescu paying Tribute to a legend on 155 th birth anniversary function in Delhi of Romanian National Poet Mihai Eminescu organized and Celebrated by me under the banner of my Indo- Romanian Cultural Association where I invited her to the function as special guest because of her love and admiration for this great poet. The poetry of Eminescu has been a constant source of inspiration for me, lifting me from my dreary mood swings and giving me a new zeal for life. That was nature of his poetry- aphrodisiac for like a hallucination drug, which flew me towards an unknown being.

Hyperion the last great poem by Eminescu an indisputable summit of his creation. It is no use of thinking today of the amplitude of a work which might have been completed if the destiny had been more merciful; Our spirit does not call for a great amount, but for a sublime quality for poetry. Titu Maiorescu the publisher of this poetry collection entitled Poesii commented in his forward to the volume that Eminescu was always too unconcerned and unambitious about the future fate of his work to create a collected publication for himself. Mihai Eminescus poetry has a wide range of themes including nature, love, history, politics and social issues; his poetry has great influence on Romanian life, letters and culture. An explanatory note, forgotten by the poet on one of his working manuscript pages, at note discovered by posthumous research tries to legitimate the same conception: if the genius knows no death Eminescu wrote- and his name inspired the night of oblivion, in exchange here, on earth, he is not capable of making anyone happy neither is he capable of enjoying happiness himself. He is immortal, but unlucky as well. Mihai Eminescu (1850-1889) was a writer, journalist and romantic poet. For several years he worked as a clerk, editor, director for the central library. Eminescu was in love with Veronica Micle who was married to a university professor thirty years her senior. Eminescu met her when he was studying in Vienna. They developed a close relationship. Micle was a short story writer and a poetess. Her style was different. She written number of poems devoted to her relationship with Eminescu. Micle and Eminescu were about to married after her husbands death, but because of some problems including his developing illness kept them from doing so. Micle moved to Boucharest and cared for Eminescu during his serious illness for last about two years of his life. Dear friends,India wil remain grateful to Mihai Eminescu and his outstanding poetic work who made Indian literature, philosophy and culture immortal not only in his own country but also in the Europe.
