The beginning :
The company was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 as a department of his fathers company Toyota Industries to create automobiles. it created its first product, the Type A engine, and, in 1936, its first passenger car, the Toyota AA From September 1947, Toyota's small-sized vehicles were sold under the name "Toyopet" The first vehicle sold under this name was the Toyopet SA and sb light truck. After many years toyota want to be more world wide and fighting many markets as american and euorpian markets , they entered the american market by 2 cars Toyopet Crown and the Toyopet Corona.in 1957

but the name was not well received due to connotations of toys and pets. The name was soon dropped for the American market but continued in other markets until the mid 1960s. they tried to know whats suits to the customers in the market , for family and teens and older people ,

and they success in find the economic cars with good quality control and suitable price consumers in many countries in the world began turning to small cars with better fuel economy.

This days : ( from 20 cars in 1935 to 8,557,351 car in 2010 )


Toyota has grown to a large multinational corporation from where it started and expanded to different worldwide markets and countries. It displaced GM and became the world's largest automobile maker for the year 2008. It held the title of the most profitable automobile maker (US$11 billion in 2006) along with increasing sales in, among other countries, the United States. The world headquarters of Toyota are located in its home country in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. Its subsidiary, Toyota Financial Services sells financing and participates in other lines of business. Toyota brands include Scion and Lexus and the corporation is part of the Toyota Group. Toyota also owns 51% of Daihatsu, and 16.7% of Fuji Heavy Industries, which manufactures Subaru vehicles. They also acquired 5.9% of Isuzu Motors Ltd. on November 7, 2006 and will be introducing Isuzu diesel technology into their products.

The marketing :
Toyota's marketing efforts have focused on the positive experiences of ownership and vehicle quality.

The ownership experience has been targeted in slogans such as "Oh, what a feeling!" (19781985, in the US), "Who could ask for anything more" (19861989), "I love what you do for me, Toyota!" (19901997), "Everyday" (19972000)", "Get the feeling!" (20012004), and "Moving Forward" (2004present). Recently, Toyota's new United States marketing strategy has included such hits as "Swagger Wagon" its a rap song describing the 44 safe car in lyrics.to contacting with this level of people in america who care about economic safe strong car like this special black people in states. and the marketing for the new Avalon, which includes a throwback to the "old days of travel."

The growth :
Toyota find a lot of people looking for a luxury shape thats what make toyota released Lexus brand 1-The logo: represent the mutually beneficial relationship and trust that is placed between the customer and the company so the larger oval represent the "global expansion of Toyota's technology and unlimited potential for the future.
