GB
Description If DIP1=OFF and TC<MAX sequence: open - stop - close - open. The stop is not permanent but lasts for the time set by means of TC. If DIP1=OFF and TC=MAX sequence: open - stop - close - open. If DIP1=ON and automatic closing is enabled (TC<MAX), contact 1-5= open. If DIP1=ON and TC=MAX, contact 1-5 = open. If automation is stopped control 1- 5 performs the opposite operation to that preceding the stop. It stops and/or prevents the opening operation. If jumper 64 is cut, closing operation is performed by closing contact 1-6. Reverses movement (re-opens) during closing. With SO jumper cut, after close proximity limit switch has been triggered, it causes the automation to STOP during closing operation. If automation is stopped and jumper SO is closed, it inhibits all opening and closing operations. If automation is stopped and jumper SO is cut it inhibits only closing operation. With contact 1-9 open, the automation stops or remains stopped and automatic closing is disabled. By restoring control 1-9 the automation remains at a standstill until it receives a control 1-5 or remote control. If DIP1=ON and jumper 64 is cut, 1-9 contact open stops any movement and hold-to-run function is enabled by means of contact 1-9 open. Under these conditions opening (1-5) and closing (1-6) controls work only if kept pressed, otherwise the automation stops. Automatic closing, 1-8 control and radio remote controls are disabled, with the exception of the on/off courtesy light button. If DIP2=OFF, the automation stops during closing. If DIP2=ON, the automation stops during opening. As an alternative, the limit switch can be connected to plug 0-11 (In this case you must not make a jumper between terminals 0-11). As for examples see paragraph 9.

CONNECTION ANTENNA AND BUTTONS / CHANNEL SELECTION

The receiver in the control panel has an antenna (rigid wire L=173 mm). In order to extend its transmission range, the antenna must be positioned outside the building, away from metal frames, and as high as possible. This can be done by connecting the antenna in the LAMP flashing light by means of a RG58 coaxial LAMP 230 V cable (max. 10 m), or by installing the tuned antenna BIXLA. Unlike plug-in receivers BIXLR2 in control panel from 1 to 4 buttons CH of the same transmitter can RG58 be stored individually. If only one button CH of the transmitter is stored the stored button CH activates control 1-5 (step-by-step/open). NOTE: be careful not to store the other buttons CH of the same transmitter. If from 2 to 4 buttons CH of the same transmitter are stored, the buttons CH activate the following controls: CH1 CH2 CH3 CH4 = = = = CH BUTTONS OPERATIONS Step-by-step/open control (1-5) Partial opening control. It causes opening of the automation for 8 s. Courtesy lamp on/off control in sequence ON-OFF-ON. Stop control. It has the same effect as a impulsed 1-9 control.

- Check that memory BixMR2 is inserted on COM connector of the control panel. - Press the PRG button on the control panel (powered), and the SIG indicator LED will light up. SIG COM - Only with BIXLS2. By means of the 10 dip-switches, select the PRG desired coding code from among the 1024 options. - Perform a transmission by pressing the desired CH button of the ANT CH1 new transmitter (within the range of the powered control panel). The CH2 Q.E. CH button of the transmitter will thus be enabled. During this phase, the SIG indicator LED flashes. When the LED comes back steady Attendere 10 s Nuovo TX on, a new CH button or a CH button of a new transmitter can be Wait for 10 s New TX enabled. Enable all the new transmitters by making a transmission as indicated above. NOTE: (Only with BIXLS2) Only one TX needs be stored. All the TXs with the same code will be enabled. - Codes are stored in the BIXMR2 storage module (up to a maximum of 200 codes). In case of the BIXMR2 storage module not being detected upon the unit being turned on, the radio receiver built-in in the control panel enters into an alarm status and the yellow SIG LED starts flashing quickly. Attention: Insertion and removal of the BIXMR2 module must be made with the unit powered off. In case of the BIXMR2 memory being full (200 codes stored), the yellow SIG LED flashes quickly for 5 seconds after which the radio receiver built-in in the control panel returns to normal operation. The learning mode is operative for around 10 s. At each storage operation, the learning time is renewed. If the channel has already been stored, the SIG LED flashes and the code is automatically rejected. - Exit from the procedure is automatic after 10 s from the last transmission or by pressing the PRG button again (the SIG LED goes off). Note: Using the Ppc2 management unit it is possible to add, delete, copy on another storage module the BIXMR2 memory codes.

IMPORTANT The operations relating to paragraph 3.5 are performed without safety devices. The trimmer can only be adjusted with automation stopped. Make a jumper between the safety devices (1-6 / 1-8) and the STOP (1-9). Before proceeding to start check the type of application chosen on the basis of the examples provided in paragraphs 6-7-89-10-11. 3.3 If limit switches are used they must be adjusted so that they can be triggered upon mechanical stop of opening and closing operations. NOTE: The limit switches must be kept pressed until complete operation is carried out. 3.4 Set TC to maximum. Set RF, R1 and TM to medium. Only if limit switches N.C. are used set TM at maximum. Select the desired direction of movement by means of DIP2. 3.5 Supply power and make sure the automation is working properly by sending several step-by step controls. Check the limit switches are triggered. NOTE: If mechanical stops or proximity switches with N.O. contact are used to stop the automation stroke, adjust the trimmer TM so that the operation time is 2-3 s longer than the time which is actually required to perform the operation. 3.6 Remove the jumpers and connect the safety devices (1-6 / 1-8) and the stop (1-9). Make sure they are working properly. 3.7 If desired, adjust automatic closing by means of TC trimmer. Attention: the closing time after a safety device has been triggered, depends on DIP3 settings. 3.8 Make sure RF is set in a position to make the automation work properly and guarantee users safety in case of accidental contact. 3.9 Set thrust on obstacles by R1. 3.10 Connect any accessories and make sure they work properly. 3.11 Close the box (if fitted) by means of the 4 screws. 3.1 3.2
