The E.H.Q. is located at the port side of the first bridge deck. The person responsible for maintaining all LSA and fire fighting equipment is 2nd Officer and 2nd Eng. In case of collision, grounding or flooding, duty watch to close all watertight doors,portholes and scuffles. In event of fire, all automatic and manual fire doors, and other openings to be closed by First ET. All officers to muster equipped with radio Sup.num and non-tasked personnel to muster at bridge until further order is given. The Master's substitute will be Chief Officer.

ABANDON SHIP - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Signal : Seven short and one long on the ship's alarm system and on the ship's whistle. The order to abandon ship will ONLY be given by the Master or his substitute. The person in charge will make a roll call before launching Action: All personnel to don lifejackets and warm clothing and muster at designated E.H.Q. stations with immersion suit.

MAN OVERBOARD - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Signal : Intermittent sounding of the ship's alarm system and three long blasts on the ship's whistle. Action : Emergency party muster at E.H.Q. with survival suits and lifejackets at hand. All non-tasked personnel, collect warm clothing, don lifejackets and muster at E.H.Q.
