Struggle Town Easy Street Or

Yesterday this blogger shot himself down in a hail of words. I had the best of intentions, and even had a great topic Character Assassination. But today I know that at the moment this was not right, I might come back to it but my inspiration was wrong and it was hard work getting just a hundred or so words together. Today I do not know what I am writing about but believe my inspiration is in God my Father. This nexus has popped up a few times previously and each time that I figure out where this is going it has turned out as hard strug gle. When Dad gives the words there is a world of difference in the composition of just 500 to 600 words. So then, what is it I am on about? Struggle Town is a place we as believers should not be inhabitants. That is not to say the right place for Chr istians is Easy Street, but there is a place in between Struggle Town and Easy Street. This place is called Peaceville. If I described Peaceville graphically it would be any place where we can live in a place of contentment with Gods situation for us. P eaceville can have its feet in either Struggle Town or Easy Street. The key to Peaceville is that we put our trust i n our Father and trust and obey. The one distinction between Struggle Town and Peaceville is the presence of Father in the lives of the inhabitants. It is a necessary dynamic that Peaceville has a foot, or a presence, in both Struggle Town and Easy Street. The nature of people who live in peace with Dad is going to be different in struggle Town compared to that of Easy Street. At the Struggle end of Peaceville the inhabitants are able to live above the pressures of Struggle Town because those who know and follow Father have a hope that sees beyond their lives of struggle . On the Easy Street end of a line God followers have a vision and compassion for others that is absent or at least suppressed among those who live Easy. By comparison with those in Struggle Town the people of Easy have the resources to enable others in their faith walk. There is mutuality in Peaceville, while we have an extended experience, it is also interactive. We the members of Peaceville may be financially struggling or we may be living in plenty but we are all connected by our spiritual richness in Jesus. There is also a need to see beyond our own experiences. We live in connection to our neighbours in Struggle Town and Easy Street. They observe us in life and depending on where our investment in our life is , they will decide whether there is sufficient in our lives to make it worth them considering investing. That will not be in Peaceville, but in Him who makes our hope real . This is our daily calling. We are to take up our cross , live as Ambassadors for the Lord Jesus and Father God and show forth the Good news by the way that we live. He, the Master, is the one who enables us to live in a way that glorifies Father and Jesus to others where ever we are. It is important that we serve where we are because that is where the Master came to meet us so we should meet others where they are too in Jesus name.
