Alternative Investment options in India For HNI's(High Networth Individuals)

Private Equity Private equity funds typically make investments in companies not listed on public stock exchanges. They offer high return opportunities due to their access to dynamic, privately held companies and their ability to create value in them. We help you choose exceptional private equity funds with high growth potential. Real Estate Real Estate has long been considered the most tangible source of wealth accumulation. With land growing increasingly scarce in India, the value of real estate holdings is expected to grow. Apart from a few bubbles such as the mid-90s, this has largely been true. We help you choose the best option in real estate via real estate funds or physical real estate based on your needs. Gold Gold is regarded as one of the best hedging tools be it against inflation, currency, stocks or fixed income. Gold retains its value in times of hyper inflation and currency weakness. Gold is known to have a low correlation with other asset classes such as equities and debt and is considered a safe haven during times of economic crises. It is even regarded as an alternate currency. Gold protects ones portfolio from volatility as micro-economic and macro-economic factors that tend to have significant impact on other asset classes have virtually no or little impact on gold prices. Commodities Commodity investing can be a potentially rewarding option and can provide the muchneeded diversification your portfolio needs. Commodity trading provides an ideal asset allocation, while helping you hedge against inflation and buying into a piece of global demand growth. Commodity exposure can be taken either directly through the commodity exchange or through various mutual funds with a mandate of investing in commodities. Art Investment in art is a profitable option with the Indian art market multiplying manifold over the last few years. We help you choose the best art funds, which will maximise your returns. Managed Futures Managed Futures are a form of alternative investment with focus on absolute returns similar to hedge funds, but with greater regulatory oversight and restriction to trading in only highly liquid futures. The investment strategy used generally is algorithmic trading focused on trend following. Managed Futures are generally managed on the basis of technical analysis and involves going long or short in futures contracts in areas such as metals, grains, equity indexes and commodities of all kinds. Currency futures are also commonly traded. Unlike traditional investments, managed futures can take both long and short positions, allowing you to achieve returns in both rising and falling markets.

I.V.SUBBA RAO 3 weeks ago RAGHUVAMSI IRON ORE PELLETZATIONTECHNOLOGIES (GREEN FIELD PROJECT) SEEKING FOR INVESTORS RAGHUVAMSI TECHNOLOGIES of ANDHARA PRADESH state INDIA, has developed an alternative iron ore palletizing technology specifically for small and medium scale industries such as like 50,100,300,500 tones per day, aimed at preventing the build up of accretions which requires the regular shut-down of kilns for cleaning. Each kiln has to be stopped at regular intervals to break off these accretions of fused charge materials which build up on the inside of the kiln. In a year, this results in two to three months lost production time. The company claims that using this technology there is no need to use coal lump, limestone and dolomite as input feed to the kiln or to separate gangue materials from the product after reduction. at present the sponge iron manufactures are using lime stone, dolomite, coal lumps, all of three feeding in kiln inlet as feed material, after reduction ( kiln out put/ discharge ) of all three char coal, un burned dolomite, some un calcined lime stone mixed to getter, that the reason they has to screening and de- magnetized the sponge apart from that all others materials. (The separated material is as called gangue). But in our technology gangue contents like sio2, al2o3, mgo, will be separated with beneficiation system. We dont have to feed any other material in kiln feed inlet. In our case we are feeding green pellets as feed material in kiln in let , after reduction it will come out as DRI PELLETS ( sponge iron). If the kiln is coal fired rather than gas or oil, sufficient coal to meet the fuel requirement is still required in the kiln. These pellets have been trialed in rotary kilns in 2008. This process Technology patented, the binder in the pellet provides the necessary reducing agent, and sulphur is removed during pellet sintering. Available iron in the pellets depends on the quality of the ore used. Hematite with an Fe content of 62-66% and with low decrepitating properties has been used to date. In early trials the ore was crushed to 5mm and smaller but subsequent trials have shown that a size range of 5-18mm is perfectly satisfactory to obtain equally high metallization of 90-93%. Yield has also improved with the consumption of ore decreasing from 1600kg to 1400kg per tone DRI produced due to a better understanding of the process, improvements in equipment and greater automation. The main properties of the pellets are listed in Table 1. The pellets are porous which aids reducibility.
