SPECIAL USER FEATURES ON VARIOUS PHONES Oct 6,

2006 A number of special user features are available on BHEL phones - which are listed below. These had been circulated among users earlier, and were printed in the existing Book Directory, but have since been modified after the commissioning of the new BSNL exchange, which is presently feeding all MAX no's. Any feedback is most welcome.

LOCKING PROCEDURE FOR BSNL-CORAL EXCHANGE PHONES.

( Tel No's: 1xxx & 4xxx)
Outgoing Dialling ( To BSNL, Mobiles etc ) facility is activated on certain phones fed by the above Exchange ( ie. on certain Tel. No's between 1000 to 1999 & 4000 to 4999 ) Pad-Locking of these phones is strongly recommended, by the following procedure : All users are advised to IMMEDIATELY create your new password & lock your phone(s). Please note that the suffix ( viz. 3 or 4 or 5, as mentioned below) will be applicable as per the existing facilities available on each phone. An additional feature has been extended to STD / ISD enabled phones- by which one can lock STD (or STD + ISD) while having local outgoing unlocked (available) - somewhat like on BSNL phones.
