A Tealight Holder

You will need:


Crumb cake cardstock Acetate sheet 1 circle punch Cutter and scorer or bone folder Sticky strip Dotto adhesive 3 tea lights Grosgrain ribbon etc to decorate as desired.

Step 1
For inner: Cut your crumb cake cardstock to 18.5cm (8) x 5.8cm (2 4/8) Score at 1 and 7 Run your bone folder along both creases to make a crisp fold line.

Step 2
Punch out 3 1 circles out of scrap cardstock, these will be used as a template, place a small amount of dotto on one side of each punchie and place on the cardstock in position to where you want your holes for the tealights as shown below.

Step 3
Punch out your circles with your templates still in place, these are your guides.

Step 4
You should be left with 3 uniform holes.

Step 5
The outer base box

Cut cardstock to 20.5cm (8) x 11.2cm (4 4/8) Score each side at 1

Step 6
Run your bone folder over each crease to give a crisp fold

Step 7
Sponge all your edges with early espresso ink

Step 8
Cut on the score lines, as shown below

Step 9
Add sticky strip on each little tab as shown (all four corners)

10 Step 10
Pull backing off of sticky strip and form your box

11 Step 11
Take your acetate sheet and cut to 20.5cm (8 ) x 11.3cm (4 7/16) Run your bone folder over all creases

12 Step 12
Cut along the four score lines as you did with the box base, and add your sticky strip to each tab as shown below. Peel the backing off of your sticky strip and form your basic box shape.

13 Step 13
Pop your insert into the base box Tip: I used a couple of glue dots (rolled them into a thin line) to stick the insert to the sides of the box. Pop your tealight candles in

14 Step 14
Pop your lid onto the box then embellish as desired.
