Boys Hostel is available outside the Institute campus (Approx.

8 kms distance from institute campus) The Boys hostel has a capacity of 57 inmates on sharing basis. The hostel is well furnished and looked after by the Warden / Deputy Warden hostel facility is available for girls at present. Hostel seats are allotted during counseling. Vacant Seats if any will be filled as per All India Rank. All students allotted hostel accommodations are required to pay the hostel fees on or before the notified dates failing which the allotment stands cancelled. The fee details are given below; No

Facilities: All rooms are equipped with cots, chairs, built in cupboards and study tables on triple sharing basis. The hostel students are required to be covered under Medical Insurance (If they are not already under coverage). On securing admission to the boys hostel the institute will assist in securing the medical insurance cover. Students are advised not to use the institute phone for making or receiving personal calls.

TV may be viewed by the hostel students within the timings announced by the authorities. For extension of normal viewing time, written permission must be obtained from the hostel authorities. Normal viewing time is up to 11 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and up to 1.00 a.m. on weekends and on nights prior to a holiday. Any hostelite wishing to use his/her own vehicle must get the written consent of his/her parents/local guardian and must also submit an application to the warden seeking permission to park his/her vehicle in the compound of the Hostel. The vehicle so parked will be at the risk of the student and the Institute will not be held responsible for any loss or damage howsoever caused to the vehicle. In their own interest, students are advised to keep their rooms locked at all times. Students are advised not to keep any valuables or cash in the rooms. The Institute will not be responsible for any loss, damage or theft of personal effects. Responsibility: The hostelites will be held responsible for any damage to the property of the Institute and will have to make good the losses and also face strict disciplinary action. The hostelites shall keep their rooms, corridors, staircase and bathrooms spotlessly clean and tidy at all times. Students found to be living untidily and un-hygienically, will be asked to leave the hostel. It is compulsory for all students to have all meals in the Dining Hall during all meal periods. Students are not allowed to carry their meals into hostel room except in case of illness with prior permission from and at the discretion of Hostel Warden/ Deputy Warden. The following meal timings shall be strictly adhered to by all the hostelites; Breakfast Lunch Dinner 7.30a.m. to 8.15a.m. 1 .00p.m. to 1.30p.m. 8.00p.m. to 8.30p.m.

Breakfast on holidays and weekends will be served from 8.00 to 9.30.a.m. If the service counter is closed, do not enter the kitchen for food. No hostelites are allowed to enter the kitchen until and unless they are on duty. for Hostel Route Map

BOYS HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS

The students who have been allotted hostel seat are required to follow the following:1. No change of rooms are permissible mutually between the students. Rooms once allotted is final. 2. Consumption of alcohol or any kind of intoxicant, smoking of tobacco or narcotics is prohibited inside the hostel premises. 3. As the hostel is located inside a residential area, loud and blaring music is not permitted to be played 4. The meal timings of the hostel is as follows:Breakfast- 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m Sat/Sun/Institute Holidays -8.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Lunch (on days when the Institute is closed) 12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. Dinner 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. All students are required to adhere to the meal timings 5. The Hostel fees & Mess Fee is to be deposited along with the term fees of the college. 6. The Hostel gate will close at 9.30 p.m. everyday. There will be a roll call at 10:00 p.m. where all students need to be present. However, students can avail Night Out facility, but only with the prior written approval of the Warden. 7. No visitor is allowed to go into the rooms and the boarders will meet them in the visitors lounge only. 8 The Hostel is to be vacated during all vacations (winter break and summer break) and the college will not take any responsibility for any baggage left behind. 9. Students are expected to take care of their belongings and are advised not to bring any form of jewellery or valuables. 10. Students are responsible for the safekeeping of any kind of valuable or cash which they might have

11. Use of Electrical heating appliances (heater, iron box, kettles etc.), is prohibited inside the room. 12. Fighting among students, indulging in harassment of one another in any form will be viewed seriously and suitable action may be taken. 13. 100% Attendance in college is compulsory for all students residing in the hostel. 14. The Warden, Deputy Warden or any other person authorized by the college authorities can check the rooms as and when it is deemed necessary. 15. All boarders are required to abide by such other Rules and Regulations as and when enforced for administrative reasons. 16. Students against whom disciplinary action is taken in the Institute will be summarily expelled from the Hostel 17. In all matters of dispute the decision of the Institute will be final
