Special Features: Pictured above are 53 of the 108 karanas or poses of Lord Shiva's Tandava dance. Lotus Sculpture has commissioned the other 55 sculptures of the Tandava dance to be completed by April, 2008. The complete set of the 108 karanas of the Tandava dance is very rare as it takes several years in order to make the entire set. This set is made by one collective of artisans so all the pieces have the same look and feel. The 108 karnas can be employed in the course of dance, fight, and personal combats and in other special movements like strolling. We are able to ship the karanas that we currently have in our warehouse to you immediately. The other karanas will have to be shipped after the order has been completed. Care: The piece can be used both indoors and outdoors. Dust the piece regularly. If you would like the piece to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the statue. Shipping is calculated from Greenwich, Connecticut after the purchase. This piece is too heavy to ship via UPS ground and will be shipped using a white glove service like ABF Shipping or UPS Freight. Time is needed to pack the piece in a crate. Each piece is usually shipped within 3 working days. If you place your order online shipping will show in the order as $0. Shipping will be calculated based on the weight of the sculpture and the distance from Greenwich, CT to determine the shipping price.
