Encouraging
I helped prepare the youth group of Bethel Church in Modesto by prayer and instruction for a missions trip. They brought 15 youth to Arequipa, Peru to minister with the Book of Hope. They passed out 34,000 bibles and did 5 DVD presentations of The God Man , a CGI of the gospel, to elementary children with several other teams that came from the USA. Many came to the Lord. These bibles are not just read by the students that receive them but the entire family will read them. Many more are anticipated in coming to the Lord as a result. Please be in pray for that fruit to be achieved. The youth also brought the items that I received from the Womens Ministry at Mount Hermon boutique to be stored for my arrival in Peru. (see picture below of missions team)

Te s t i m o n i e s
I spoke to the childrens ministry at Arena Fijian Church. I had the children wear a poncho or llama wool hat, display the flag, described a typical day for the Peruvians and the different food that they eat.. I also shared the importance of praying for missionaries for their safety and help in leading others to the Lord. One of the students named Elizabeth really grasped the meaning of intercession and she is only 8 years old. She has been praying for me everyday since that meeting without any prompting from her parents. (see her picture below)

Update on Missionary Budget

Last month I was supposed to complete raising my budget which includes monthly pledges as well as one time cash budget. I am still short about $1600 monthly pledges as well as around $17,000 cash. AGWM has granted a final extension at the Northern California and Nevada districts request. They will be featuring me at the Ministers Retreat to help raise the rest of my budget. God continually reassures me that He will raise my budget, that His timing is perfect. I know that He has never failed me. I really need your help to complete my itineration and get me to Peru.
